Project Songbird Teaser: Faceless Update 1.0.8

  • [p]Fixed bug where player would get soft locked sometimes during a particular ending[/p]

  • [p]Further optimized lights and reduced geometry complexity[/p]

Project Songbird Teaser: Faceless Update 1.0.6

[p]Good morning (2:00pm) everyone![/p][p][/p][p]I've got a small set of changes / fixes to update to the playable teaser for Project Songbird! Nothing major, but hopefully some of these alterations can help to smooth out some problems and add a bit to the overall experience![/p][p][/p]
  • [p]Added some additional environmental details.[/p]
  • [p]Altered some UI text[/p]
  • [p]Removed unused assets from the demo (leftover from the full release) to hopefully reduce load times and prevent crash on load.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed bug where tutorial prompt is showing up at wrong times[/p]

Project Songbird Teaser: Faceless Update 1.0.5

[p]Happy 2:30am everyone![/p][p][/p][p]As always, I'm up far to late to bring you an update to the playable teaser for Project Songbird! Version 1.0.5 just has some little tweaks that I feel improve the overall experience, but nothing major here to be found.[/p][p][/p]
  • [p]Fixed bug where flashlight was sometime not turning on during the opening hallway of the house[/p]
  • [p]Added addition SFX[/p]
  • [p]Adjusted ambient occlusion[/p]
[p][/p][p]Like I said, just a baby update! I've been watching the let's plays and reading the reviews, and I can't thank all of you enough for giving this demo a spin! Can't wait to show you what else I've been cooking up in the lab (my desk).[/p][p][/p][p]Goodnight, and I'll be back tomorrow![/p]

Project Songbird Teaser Faceless Update 1.0.4

[p]Hello once again! This time I just have a few minor improvements to the demo! Hopefully, with this patch, most all major problems with Project Songbird Teaser: Faceless will be fixed up and the experience will be smooth running from here on out![/p][p][/p]
  • [p]Further geometry optimization and shadow reduction.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed issue where flashlight would not work during final basement[/p]
  • [p]Fixed some UI scaling issues[/p]
  • [p]Fixed tutorial prompt toggle setting not working properly[/p]

Project Songbird Teaser: Faceless Update 1.0.3

[p]Another day, another grouping of patches![/p][p][/p][p]I do apologize for all of the issues and inconveniences you guys are running into! FYRE Games is a predominantly one-man team (that one man being me), and I don't have a regular QA staff to check for bugs and hiccups, so it gets a bit challenging to find the glitches prior to launch. However, seeing all of your feedback and playthroughs has been incredibly valuable in making this playable teaser the best it can be![/p][p][/p][p]v1.0.3 comes with a couple of big fixes that'll hopefully smooth out the experience for most players![/p][p][/p]
  • [p]Another massive geometry optimization pass was done on the final basement area. Compared to v1.0.0, this area can see upwards of a 90% reduction in geometry complexity, leading to much improved performance[/p]
  • [p]A bug causing enemies to get stuck on locked doors has been fixed[/p]
  • [p]A bug that disables the flashlight when respawning in the final basement area has been addressed[/p]
[p][/p][p]This game being a one-person development, I want to say that I do take all of your feedback and criticisms to heart, and I want you all to know that I am working tirelessly to make sure that this demo is to the highest quality standard that I could hope to achieve. Ironing out all of these little things will make the final release of Project Songbird all the better for it![/p][p][/p][p]If you have any other issues or concerns you'd like addressed, don't hesitate to reach out by any means you see fit, and I'll see what I can do to remedy the problem.[/p][p][/p][p]Until next time, take care, and I can't wait to see more of you trying out Project Songbird Teaser: Faceless :)[/p][p]
