Thanks for joining our first AMA session and first off, a huge thank you for all the excitement and support you’ve shown for Game of Thrones: Kingsroad.
We’ve received a lot of great questions through our official Discord, so we'll get started by addressing some of the most popular ones first, then lead onto other questions from the community!


πŸ’¬ To start things off, many players have expressed their desires for Alliance-related activities and contents.
Many of the questions we received were about Alliances, including:

❔: Will there be some kind of Alliance only activities, like Alliance Boss Raids or Battles? For example something like the whole alliance battles to gather against an Army of the Boltons or Lennisters.

❔: Will we get an alliance castles or a place that serves as an upgradable hub area for alliance members to hang out with an alliance board that gives more missions and buffs depending on the upgrades you work together to unlock?

❔: would like to know if there will be an alliance member increase past 20 per alliance

πŸ—£οΈβ“: hello.. In the future, will alliances have more functions, such as fighting each other for territory?

Alliance content holds significant importance for our development team and will play a central role in our upcoming updates. We are committed to continuously expanding and enriching these features moving forwards.
As many of you have specifically mentioned, we are actively planning exclusive content tailored for Alliances, including dedicated spaces and engaging activities for members to enjoy together. In addition to these features, we will also be increasing the maximum number of members an Alliance can accommodate.

πŸ’¬ : Moving on, regarding Cosmetics

❔: Will we be able to have cosmetic helmets and hoods later on?

❔: Have the developers ever considered adding more personalization and ownership features to King's Road β€” like weapon skins?


πŸ’¬ : We definitely plan to introduce a variety of new outfits and skins, including new outfits featuring hats, helmets, and weapon skins πŸ‘€ . These will be prioritized for upcoming updates and will be closely tied to future content releases.


πŸ—£οΈβ“: How are the lobbies for drogon matched? Will it be possible to join the same Drogon if you are in a party but from different servers? I've attempted to fight Drogon with a friend before but we end up at different instances of the world boss.

πŸ’¬ : Great question!
We've had many questions regarding the server/lobby system

❔: Will we be able to change servers within region to do world boss fights with friends/alliance mates in another server?

πŸ’¬ : Drogon lobbies are matched within the player's servers.
While the option for server transfers are not available at the moment, we are actively exploring ways to implement event-based co-op content that allows players from different servers to team up and enjoy certain features together. For example, we’re also looking into systems where players from different servers can be matched for Drogon fights, similar to the mechanics in Altar of Memories. We’re considering various approaches, so please stay tuned for more updates!


πŸ—£οΈβ“: Is there any chance you'll add change appearance (face mostly) tickets in near future?

πŸ—£οΈβ“: Will we have a possible collab event with content from House of the Dragons?

❔: Do you think about releasing DLC? For example, a DLC for House of Dragons or about other moments in the Game of Thrones universe? Because already having the map, it seems interesting to me to release DLCs that go into other centuries of the Game of Thrones universe.

πŸ’¬ : If there's an opportunity to collaborate with other ASOIAF content, we'd love to do so!

The community has expressed their desire to learn more about the upcoming content and the future plans regarding Game of Thrones: Kingsroad

❔: Do you have a roadmap for future updates / content?

❔: With the inclusion of more co op content, will we be getting 4 player, 8 player, and possibly 12 player dungeons and raids?

❔: Will the co-op system be further developed? Will it be expanded to include the open world? Will there be more co-op modes?

❔: Will be there more functions for friends/party? I would like to be able seeing and doing many things with friends or community.

πŸ’¬ : In general, updates will advance the narrative with new chapters. But that’s not allβ€”
We'd also like to share a bit about what we're currently developing for co-op content.
We are currently on the final development stages for a new type of PVE content. Raids
This is designed to offer a distinct gameplay experience compared to the already existing World Bosses and Altar of Memories.
Our current design envisions a starting point of 4 players, with the potential to scale up to 8.
Players will be able to challenge themselves against a bigger threat, figuratively and literally.

That said, there are still a lot of factors we need to carefully consider in the process. For instance, as the group size increases, we need to appropriately scale the time investment and difficulty, which also might bring up challenges around matchmaking. We are giving this considerable thought and will strive to incorporate your feedback as much as possible.

Furthermore, given that multiplayer is a core element of Kingsroad, we are committed to continuously expanding the range of co-op content available, including both dungeon-based and field-based activities.

Adding onto this, we've also seen players having difficulty finding lobbies for certain contents - Altar of Memories for example
While the Official Launch and a massive influx of players would alleviate the issue, we do plan to add options that make multiplayer content more accessible, such as allowing gameplay with fewer participants. That said, given that we have other, more pressing issues to address, this particular feature is likely to be implemented at a later stage in the game's development as an update.


πŸ—£οΈβ“: Have you considered upping the loot tables/chance of specific loot? It feels like it takes way too many attempts to get a purple or an orange item from the Ferocious Beasts

πŸ’¬ : We hear you!
While Altar of Memories for example has a mileage system, Ferocious Beasts do not have such system, and it could feel frustrating for players going on a dry streak.
We'll be introducing a similar system to Ferocious Beasts as well in the coming weeks, where players will be able to obtain desired loots from Ferocious Beasts such as Hides deterministically.


πŸ—£οΈβ“: What areas of the game does the team feel currently needs the most attention when it comes to game balance (excluding RP which has already been stated)?

πŸ’¬: πŸͺ™ The In-Game Currency Economy is our top priority atm, let us delve deeper on this.

We've touched on this topic on our previous Dev Notes briefly, we are planning to generally increase the amount of Copper rewarded from repeatable content that uses RP. Through this, our goal is to increase the fixed amount of Copper that players can steadily earn through daily gameplay, making repeatable activities feel more rewarding and meaningful.

We are also working on adjusting the currently underutilized Production and Trade systems into meaningful sources of Copper.

More things will be revealed in our Dev Notes, but to give a brief rundown:
➀ We plan to significantly reduce the Copper cost required for Production activities, making it easier to gather materials repeatedly.
➀ The materials produced will then feed into Trading system, allowing players to regularly acquire materials required for growth, and Copper.
➀ To actively facilitate the above process, we'll be increasing the maximum number of worker capacity and also implement more varied ways for their stamina to regenerate.


πŸ—£οΈβ“: Any plans to ad more classes?

πŸ’¬: Any ideas? We'd love to hear them!

❔: Do you plan to have new character classes in the future? I mean like: Ranged class with for example bow and throwing knives and who has a pet for example a DireWolf who gets the enemies on melee while the character orders it and taking the aggro on him, like in MMO. Tank class with Shield and 1 hand weapon, who can resist tons of damage in one of the talent tree... I would like to have also something with 2 handed maul like is shown in enemies.

❔: Do you think about implementing new classes throughout the story, like the possibility of creating an immaculate spearman character without sharing momentum and only sharing the moment when this new immaculate character meets the other characters from Essos, that is, exploring in some way other classes created throughout the story?

πŸ’¬: To be upfront, adding a new class is no easy task.

What we can say for certain is that new classes are always on our radar. However, we're not yet in a position to confirm when they'll be ready, and we appreciate your understanding.

That said, we would love to keep hearing your thoughts. Just like the detailed suggestions we've already received about ranged or tank classes, your feedback is incredibly valuableβ€”so please keep it coming!

πŸ—£οΈβ“: Will we have more solo content, similar to Wormwalk, without the need to spend RP?

πŸ’¬: Definitely, expect single player contents to have further expansions each major update.
There's also a new content that we're working on, but it's in the early development stages so we'll share more on this in the future.


πŸ—£οΈβ“: Will we get a storage chest in RR, Will RR be upgradeable in some fashion, Will the Dragonbane costume be usable on all classes since it is a one time buy, What if any updates are you making to the RP system?

πŸ’¬: The team would like to know more regarding Storages, would this be coming from a lack of Bag Space? or from another perspective? (As in- even if there are enough spaces in the Bag, some items belong in the Storage for example)

πŸ—£οΈβ“: We need more ways to gain storage items...there are a few ways to get them but we need a non-token way to get them so like tokens of north/reach if we get them from there or alliance shop we NEED increases in these currancies

πŸ’¬: I see what you mean, the Official Launch will have more ways to expand Inventory Spaces in-game!


πŸ—£οΈβ“: If you lived in Westeros, where would you live and what would you be doing?

πŸ—£οΈβ“: We still need answers on small things like Crows and battle pass please addrss these both OR if they are in a dev note just simply say you will address both in a dev note please πŸ™‚

❔: Currently the Battle Pass has no functionality past the initial 45 levels. In many F2P games players are encouraged to keep meeting established dailies with some form of currency with extended battle pass levels, such as much needed copper in GoT Kingsroad. Is there any chance we can see a similar system put into place? The ASPCA and Sheep of Westeros will thank you!


πŸ’¬: While we do not have any concrete ideas to share at the moment, we'll definitely pass this onto the rest of the team. While we want Battle Pass rewards to be as rewarding as possible, we also have to be careful about not making it feel like too much of a chore.
We'll nag the dev team to add more Tribute rewards to the shop!


πŸ—£οΈβ“: When we are doing large bosses like Drogon, can we have the camera unlock so we can zoom out farther?

πŸ’¬: We'll pass this onto the dev team as well!


πŸ—£οΈβ“: Please address this with a simple (yes/no) will it ever get fixed?
Context: It completely ruined my immersion. A wolf attacked me right next to the guard, and they did nothing. They are like visual statues in their current state.


πŸ’¬: Sorry, we couldn't reply to this on time.
While making improvements to the immersion - as in natural NPC movements/interactions would certainly be something that we'd like to work on in the future, it's something that would have to be looked into later on, as this would require a big overhaul to how NPCs would interact.
