🔹Fix an issue where Hunting Celebration Tokens are not awarded for completing the daily mission [Defeat 1 Ferocious Beast] in the Bloody Hunt event unless RP is consumed.
🔹The number of Hunting Celebration Tokens earned and the daily attempt limits for each mission in the Bloody Hunt event will be adjusted, along with the exchange limits for event rewards.

🔸Due to potential changes in quest progress and other game content, we strongly recommend logging out of the game from a safe area before the patch is applied.

🔸If you’re playing the game through the Steam client, please download the latest patch on Steam before launching the game.
▸ We strongly recommend updating the game before logging in. Please note that the rewards and missions for the Bloody Hunt event may be displayed incorrectly if the latest patch hasn’t been applied.

Hello, this is JANG, the Executive Producer of Game of Thrones: Kingsroad.

We want to extend our sincerest gratitude to everyone who has joined us on this long journey—from our initial Early Access launch all the way to our official release.

Since launch, we've been closely listening to the invaluable feedback you've shared. Our development team has been working hard not only to resolve immediate issues, but also to shape the long-term direction of our post-launch updates.

Today, we’re excited to share the first details of what’s next: Season 1 is on the horizon.

This will be our first major post-launch update, bringing new content, storylines, and systems that mark the beginning of an ongoing seasonal experience. We’ll have more to share soon, including a full roadmap, but today’s note includes an early preview of what to expect.

Today’s update focused primarily on addressing key stability issues and major concerns identified after launch.

Now that the update is live, we wanted to use this opportunity to share with our players where things currently stand and give everyone a sneak peek at what’s coming next as we approach our next major update.


[h2][Improvements and New Content][/h2]

[h3]1. Improved Patch Download Stability on Mobile Devices[/h3]
We’ve made key improvements to address issues that were affecting patch file downloads on mobile devices. With this update, the download and installation process should now be significantly more stable and reliable.

In addition, we’ve resolved several progression-blocking bugs that occurred during gameplay. These fixes should result in a smoother, more consistent experience for players on mobile platforms.

[h3]2. Character Appearance Change Feature[/h3]
We’re excited to introduce a highly requested feature: the ability to change your character’s appearance.

Starting with the update on June 25th (PT), a new item—Character Appearance Change Coupon—will be added to the game. With this item, you’ll be able to freely customize both your character’s gender and appearance.

To celebrate the update, we’ll be giving all players a free Character Appearance Change Coupon—so you can jump back in and reimagine your character any way you like.

[h3]3. New Raid Content[/h3]
Prepare for our first major content update: the Kraken Raid.

This new raid will be available on a weekly basis and won’t consume RP to participate. It’s designed to be a challenging new experience for players at all levels—and we can’t wait to see how you rise to the occasion.

Our first major content update introduces a brand-new seasonal experience: Season 1 – The Iron Islands and the Kraken.

Brace yourselves! Season 1: ‘The Iron Islands and the Kraken’ is just around the corner, plunging you into the heart of an invasion sweeping in from across the sea. Get ready to forge a new saga with thrilling storylines and gameplay features designed to elevate your entire Westeros experience!

We’ll be introducing our new seasonal content across two developer notes.
In today’s update, we’re giving you an early look at the season’s story setup and the upcoming Kraken Raid.

“The Salt Throne shall tremble.”

Following a revelation from the Drowned Priests, many Ironborn have begun their advance towards the North. In the name of the Drowned God, they depart their isles, launching an invasion armed with the power of the sea and their indomitable iron will.

This season plunges you into the chaos unleashed from the Iron Islands, the North's desperate struggle to resist, and your own saga unfolding at the epicenter of the conflict.

[h3]2. The Kraken Raid: Challenge the Depths[/h3]
In a previous dev note, we promised to introduce content that wouldn’t require RP to participate—and now it’s almost here.

Our first large-scale raid, The Kraken Raid, is set to make its debut.

Gather your allies! Journey through the Stormlands’ Altar of Memories to access the new raid dungeon.

A true terror has surfaced: off the coast of a remote Iron Islands isle, a colossal Kraken has emerged from the ocean's abyss. This formidable beast poses a significant threat.

You'll need to team up with other skilled players to confront this massive creature. This new raid encounter is designed to test your group with:
  • Unique environmental interactions.
  • Challenging boss mechanics to decipher and overcome.
  • Intense cooperative combat where smart strategies and tight teamwork are crucial for victory.
Face this challenging encounter weekly, with no RP cost to participate. Assemble your team and prepare to battle the Kraken!

[h3]1. Compensation for Artifact Expedition Adjustments[/h3]
We’d like to take a moment to address the recent changes made to the Artifact Expedition system.

We’ve heard feedback from many of our Early Access players regarding concerns around fairness following the system update. Please know that your passion and dedication throughout the Early Access period have not gone unnoticed—and we remain deeply grateful for your support.

To ensure fairness under the newly adjusted system introduced after launch, we’ll be reviewing the total number of Artifact Cart items used during Early Access and provide compensation calibrated to what would have realistically been obtainable under the improved system.

This will require the development of new tracking and support features, so we ask for your patience as we work through this process. We’re aiming to have everything ready by June 12th, at which point we’ll follow up with more information outlining the eligibility criteria, compensation details, and distribution timeline.


[h3]2. Further Notice Regarding Recovery of Founder’s Packs[/h3]
We’d also like to share an update on the unintended distribution of Founder’s Packs to accounts that had not purchased them. Although the initial recovery process has been completed, we’ve received considerable feedback concerning the absence of clear information regarding players who had already claimed the packs.

We are currently preparing an additional recovery operation for remaining accounts, and have been developing and testing new tools to ensure accurate retrieval of the affected items.

Once testing is complete, we’ll proceed with individually tracking and recovering any remaining misdelivered items. We’ll provide a follow-up notice once this process has been finalized.

🔸Backend server optimizations have been implemented to improve overall stability.

[h3]⚖️ BALANCE ADJUSTMENTS[/h3]
The Assassin class skill [Agile Movement] was previously causing an unintended large reduction to the enemy’s Daze gauge in a single hit. This issue has now been fixed with an appropriate adjustment to the skill.

🔸The Daze damage dealt by the enhanced evasion attack after using the Assassin’s [Agile Movement] skill has been adjusted.
🔸The Hitstun effect applied to enemies by the Assassin’s enhanced evasion attack after using [Agile Movement] has been removed.

[h3]⚔️ COMBAT & GAMEPLAY[/h3]
🔸Fixed an issue where the associated Momentum did not increase accordingly when leveling up certain skills past a certain threshold.
🔸Fixed an issue where players were unable to move during the main quest [Travel to Last Hearth].
🔸Fixed an issue where using the escape function in Last Hearth’s Multi Space area caused characters to become stuck in terrain.
🔸Fixed an issue where attempting to create an Alliance with an already existing name would display a [Logic Error] message.
🔸Fixed an issue where resetting the Trait Tree under certain conditions could cause associated Skill Points to be lost.
▸ Lost Skill Points due to this issue will be sequentially returned after June 4, 01:00 AM (PT).
🔸Fixed an issue where RP would occasionally not recharge after logging out of the game for a period of time.
🔸Fixed an issue where Trading Routes for certain regions occasionally did not unlock despite meeting all conditions.
🔸Rewards obtained from defeating wildlife near the [Secluded Hut] Bandit Camp in the Stormlands have been changed.
🔸Fixed an issue where the Attack Speed Increase stat was not being applied properly.
🔸Fixed an issue where the Red Cockatrice’s attacks in the Altar of Memories dungeon did not apply the intended Attack Speed Decrease effect.
🔸Fixed an issue during Beyond the Wall Expedition where the Attack Speed Decrease effect based on the Cold Gauge was not applied.
🔸Fixed an issue in [Explore cliff paths] in Beyond the Wall Expedition where the tree could not be cut down, preventing progress.
🔸Fixed an issue in which [Bandit Camp in the Gift] could not be cleared under certain conditions.
🔸Adjusted the push notification frequency for Production, Trade, and Relic Expedition activities.
🔸Fixed an issue where the weekly mission [Defeat World Bosses] could not be cleared properly.
🔸Fixed an issue where the quest information was not displayed properly when reconnecting to the game in the World Boss Drogon area.
🔸Fixed a visual issue where the Boar Territory Signpost was not displayed in the Storm’s End Exploration Progress.

🔸Fixed an issue where the chest could not be interacted with during the Stormlands side quest [Nowhere to Return To].
🔸Fixed an issue where progress could be occasionally blocked during the main quest [Allies of the North].
🔸Fixed an issue where there was a delay in door interactions during the side quest [The Men of Kings and Queens].
🔸Fixed an issue where Elite Enemy kills were not being properly counted in certain Enemy Hideouts.
🔸Fixed an issue where players could occasionally get stuck in terrain, preventing them from moving during the main quest [Red Priest].
🔸Fixed an issue during the side quest [The Attack on Knifesbend] where a black screen would appear at the start of combat.
🔸Fixed an issue where the “Mount” icon would persistently be displayed under certain conditions during the main quest [Allies of the North].
🔸Fixed an issue where some servant NPCs had delayed movement during the main quest [Infiltrating the Keep].
🔸Fixed an issue where some dialogue was not displayed properly in certain side quests in the Stormlands.
🔸Fixed an issue where tutorial cutscenes would occasionally not play, preventing game progression.

🔸Fixed an issue where certain enemy attack animations were not playing appropriately for the situation.
🔸Added an option to lower lighting effect quality in the graphics settings.
🔸Fixed an issue where some in-game text was displayed in an unintended language.
🔸Fixed an issue where the ranged attack cancel button was not visible on iOS devices.
🔸Fixed an issue where the effect for the [Violent Charge] skill was displayed even if no enemies were hit.
🔸Fixed an issue where the quantity of rewards acquired from defeating a Ferocious Beast was displayed incorrectly when receiving 2x rewards while the inventory was full.
▸ Please note that while the displayed number was incorrect, the correct amount of rewards was properly granted.
🔸Fixed an issue where the teleportation barrier would not appear during zone transitions in certain situations.
🔸Fixed an issue in Altar of Memories: Unicorn where the hands of players holding a lance were positioned awkwardly.
🔸Fixed an issue in Beyond the Wall Expedition where footprints were incorrectly placed during the blizzard stage.
🔸Fixed some awkward visual effects during the Ferocious Beast - Giant Bear encounter.
🔸Improved visibility on certain skill effects used by the Ferocious Beast - Infected Boar.
🔸Fixed an issue where certain tutorial overview entries were not displayed.
🔸Fixed an issue where Portuguese language settings would revert to an unintended language.
▸ Please note that this issue can now be fixed by downloading the new version of the game through your platform of choice after the update.
🔸Fixed an issue where owned equipment was not refreshed when entering the [Change Random Equipment Effects] menu after reforging a piece of equipment.
🔸The Emergency Escape button image has been changed for improved visibility.
🔸The images of [Intact/Good-quality Pelts] acquired upon defeating Ferocious Beasts have been changed for improved visibility.
