Upcoming Beta Access + small update

  • [p]Fixed reload speed upgrade behavior[/p]
  • [p]Various UI bugfixes and polish[/p]
  • [p]Fixed car variant images not showing after finishing a run[/p]

  • [p]Tons of balance changes and some new content[/p]

Patch notes for the Update 1 Hotfix 1

Thanks for all the feedback! This quick hotfix addresses several issues and improves the overall experience, especially for Endless mode and reward scaling.

[h2]🛠 General Fixes & Improvements[/h2]
  • Garage panels now properly scale for Steam Deck aspect ratio
  • Fixed an issue where the Straylight model wasn’t showing
  • Armor cap now correctly enforced (70%)
  • Fixed rare case of two dynamic events spawning at the same time


[h2]💰 Currency & Rewards Tweaks[/h2]
  • Currency drops now properly spawn in Endless Mode
  • Quitting a run now gives rewards as if you had lost
  • Event rewards now scale with difficulty level
  • Bosses now drop currency that also scales with difficulty
  • Currency icon size reduced on minimap for clarity

  • Tuned difficulty values to improve pacing and balance

Update 1: Endless Mode, Garage Boost, Cloud Save & More!

We’ve rolled out a big update packed with fresh features, balance changes, and improvements. Here’s what’s new:

[h2]New Features & Modes[/h2]
- Super Hard difficulty (unlocked after Normal)
- Endless Mode (unlocked after Normal)
- Stat upgrades when all equipment is maxed — choose between stat boosts and/or extra currency
- New dynamic event: Escort the Wagon
- Currency drops from enemies (pickups like XP spheres)
- Upgrade rerolls (1 by default per run, you can buy more in the garage)

[h2]Balance & Gameplay Tweaks[/h2]
- Alfred Fumes slightly buffed
- Removed one level from Plasma Ring, moved buffs to the previous level
- Increased vehicle XP and currency rewards per run
- Improved enemy visuals (fixed blurry effect)
- Improved damage numbers visualization, they are sharper now

[h2]Garage[/h2]
- Reworked garage items: higher percentages, lower prices, and more upgrade stacks for almost every item
- Added several new items to the garage (rerolls, currency drop chance, piercing chance and amount, weapon damage...)

[h2]Quality of Life & Fixes[/h2]
- Cloud Save implemented
- Fixed Paris map collisions and small issues
- Added aim mode shortcut to the control hints at the start of each level
- Fixed small issue with Blue Drone, now should be less strong and more balanced
- Earned currency now shown below the minimap
- Various minor improvements

Early Access Roadmap

Hello Loopers!

The engines are just getting started, and as Driveloop: Survivors enters its Early Access journey, we're rolling out a series of major updates packed with fresh content and new ways to play. Each update is loaded with exciting new features, expanding the game's depth and variety with additions like (but not limited to):
  • New vehicles
  • New maps
  • New weapon types like chain lightning and flamethrowers
  • New difficulty modes, including Super Hard and Infinite (difficulties names will improve, we swear!)
  • A growing collection of Spare Parts, Crew Members, and Dynamic Events
  • Deepening progression with upgrade rarities, item merging, quests, and more

Driveloop Update – QoL, Audio, and Bug Fixes


Hey Loopers!

Here’s a quick update with several improvements to gameplay, UI, audio, and overall polish based on your feedback:

[h2]What's New[/h2]

  • Improved localization across multiple languages.
  • New feedback and bug report buttons added to the main menu.
  • Added new sound effects for events and crew member pickups.
  • You can now press E on keyboard to confirm any UI option (including Upgrades on level up).
  • Visual improvements and fixes to some particles that were displayed wrongly or were disappearing (Plasma Ring, Corrosive Titan acid, Slicers, Sawblades, Ion Beams, some projectiles, and more).
  • A small controls panel now appears at the beginning of each run.
  • Fixed duplicated map props.
  • Main menu visual Improvements in some 3D models (LODs adjusted and transparency issues)
