regulations that significantly change how every race is approached.
It’s a major step forward for the game and a fresh challenge for all players.[/p]
The 2026 Season
[p]The DLC includes the full 2026 car lineup, designed around the updated technical rules, and a dedicated championship that lets you experience this new era across an entire season.[/p][p][/p][p]A brand-new track also joins the calendar: Azerbaijan, a fast and technical circuit that highlights both the strengths and challenges of the new generation of cars.[/p][p][/p]
New Gameplay Systems

Overtake Boost
[p]If you cross the line within one second of the car ahead, you’ll unlock an Overtake Boost for the following lap.
It can only be used during that lap, adding a new layer of strategy and rewarding close, well-timed racing.[/p]
A/B Mode
[p]The new cars feature a dual aerodynamic system:[/p]
 • [p]A Mode can be activated in specific sections, increasing top speed and acceleration on straights.[/p]
 • [p]B Mode activates automatically, providing more grip and stability through corners.[/p]
[p]Managing these modes is key to maximizing performance.[/p]
Battery Management
[p]With the 2026 regulations, fuel management has been replaced by battery management, featuring three mappings:[/p]
 • [p]Balance – standard performance and consumption[/p]
 • [p]Performance – higher speed and acceleration, faster battery drain[/p]
 • [p]Eco – reduced performance with improved recharge[/p]
[p]Strategy now plays an even bigger role throughout the race.[/p][p][/p][p][/p]
Free Content
[p]To let everyone try the new generation, we’re releasing a free 2026 team: Custom Motors, available in Custom and Time Attack modes even without owning the DLC.[/p][p][/p][p]We’re also launching a completely free season: Late ’50s, including a new car, new legends, and a special track: Italy “Super Vintage” variant.[/p][p][/p][p][/p]
Leaderboard Reset & Legacy Edition
[p]Alongside the new season and recent refinements, and in agreement with the majority of our community, we’ve Reset the online leaderboards 🚨🚨🚨 to provide a fresh start that reflects the current state of the game.[/p][p]The Late ’20 Season DLC, together with all previous DLCs, will be included in the Legacy Edition, the physical boxed version available starting June 4 by Microids.[/p][p][/p][p]A new season begins!
See you on track, Legends.

Formula Legends Patch 1.3.3 HotFix
Hotfix - Input Device Recognition Update
[p]Hello everyone,[/p][p]We’ve released a new hotfix for Formula Legends addressing an issue related to input device recognition.[/p][p]After the recent update focused on steering wheel support, some players reported difficulties using a gamepad.
This issue was caused by the game incorrectly identifying certain external peripherals connected to the PC (such as specific mouse models) as steering wheels. As a result, the game assumed a wheel was connected and disabled gamepad input.[/p][p]With this hotfix, we’ve changed the device recognition method to prevent this forced input lock and allow proper use of gamepads regardless of other connected peripherals.[/p][p]Please note that, due to this change, minor compatibility issues may occur with specific steering wheel models.
If you experience any anomalies or input-related problems, we invite you to contact us on Discord https://discord.gg/jwAfduUG, where we’ll be happy to help and provide the best possible support.[/p][p]Thank you to everyone who reported the issue and helped us improve the experience.[/p][p]
Hotfix – Input Device Recognition[/p]
 • [p]Fixed an issue where some external peripherals (e.g. specific mouse models) were incorrectly detected as steering wheels[/p]
 • [p]Resolved gamepad input being disabled when a wheel was falsely detected[/p]
 • [p]Updated input device recognition to allow proper gamepad usage regardless of connected peripherals[/p]

[p]We’re excited to announce that Formula Legends Patch 1.3 is now live![/p][previewyoutube][/previewyoutube][p]This update delivers some of the most requested improvements so far, significantly enhancing the overall driving experience.[/p][p]Patch 1.3 introduces full steering wheel support with complete input remapping, letting you fine-tune every control for a more precise, realistic, and immersive feel. At launch, wheel models from Moza, Logitech, Fanatec, and Thrustmaster are supported, with additional brands planned for future updates.[/p][p][/p]

For the best driving experience, we strongly recommend setting your wheel steering dead zone to 0 in the control settings.
[p]This ensures correct input response and allows the new wheel handling to work as intended.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]We’ve also rolled out a complete rework of the collision system and hitboxes, making on-track contacts less punishing and improving wheel-to-wheel racing.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]To further boost immersion, cars now feature a visual damage system, with visible damage and deformation after impacts.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]PATCH 1.3 – FIXES & IMPROVEMENTS[/p][p]Patch 1.3 also includes numerous fixes and quality-of-life improvements across gameplay, controls, audio, and stability.[/p]
Gameplay & Rules
