We've prepared a small hotfix for a Pathologic 3 Demo

[h3]Patchnotes[/h3]
- Fixed an audio/subtitle synchronization issue in the intro video
- The hint prompting to open up the inventory now stays on until the inventory is opened
- Fixed a possible softlock while having not enough prototype charges
- Fixed a bug that made the last match in a quickslot disappear instead of being consumed when using it
- Fixed a bug that made matches in the quickslots disappear on pressing the quickslot key while wielding the prototype
- Changed the sound of shattering mirrors
- Added a custom mouse cursor

Earlier we showed the first trailer – about the political struggle in the City and the city edicts that will help you contain the plague in the streets. We promised to show other angles on the game – and we’re delivering.

Today’s trailer is dedicated to the Bachelor as a physician. It reveals the personal side of the story: diagnosis and questioning what patients tell you, the price of an oath and the consequences of every intervention, the choice between saving one and protecting many.

Well, the full version of Pathologic 3, a game in which you play a doctor tasked with saving a town from a mysterious contagion will rock up. I'm sure that if you turn off all of the lights and pay someone to sit in the next room coughing every two minutes, the difference'll be negligible.

Today we’re finally stepping onto the stage with the very news you’ve been waiting for.

Pathologic 3 will launch on January 9, 2026. That date is nailed down, screwed in, wrapped in commitments, and it isn’t moving.

Pathologic 3 is a complex game. It blends many mechanics: sometimes non-obvious and not fitting neatly into a conventional genre, because we built them to best express the Bachelor’s worldview and story. It’s a game that’s hard to explain with “keywords”; the truth is in the details. So instead of one trailer, we made several – each showing Pathologic 3 from its own angle.

Steam Next Fest kicks off today, and we’re bringing a new free demo of Pathologic 3 – an introduction to the full game with unique content we haven’t shown anywhere before.

[h2]What’s in the Demo[/h2]
This demo is a slice from the beginning of the upcoming game. Daniil Dankovsky, the Bachelor, arrives in the City-on-Gorkhon. He wants to meet an immortal man. And then everything goes sideways.

If you can, please download the demo right away! Even if you’re avoiding spoilers and plan to play only the full game, consider grabbing it now. The more people who download the demo, the higher it rises in the algorithms and the more Next Fest visitors will see it. It costs you nothing but time and disk space, and it helps us a lot.

How is the new demo different from “Quarantine”?
In every way! The new demo is a slice from the beginning of the full game. It has a different story, covers different events, and gives you a look at the very start of Pathologic 3. Playtime: about 1–2 hours.

What should you expect?
