Plunder, upgrade, survive, but most importantly: embrace the rogue life!

New class showcase: the Stevedore

“When storms rage and battles tear through the seas, no crew member is more valuable than the Stevedore. Hardened by years of loading cargo, patching up hulls, and keeping ships afloat, these skilled sailors are the backbone of any vessel. They don’t seek glory in battle, rather they ensure that the ship survives long enough to claim victory.”

Ahoy, Captains!

The seas are ruthless, and survival is never guaranteed. Today, we introduce a new class that could make all the difference between staying afloat and meeting a watery grave. Meet the Stevedore, whose mastery of ship maintenance keeps the vessel in fighting shape even in the harshest conditions.
Bail & Repair – The Art of Staying Afloat
Every ship takes damage, but not every crew can endure. Stevedores specialize in two crucial skills that set them apart from the rest.

While any sailor can remove water from a flooding deck, a Stevedore does it with unmatched efficiency. They bail out more water in a single action than any other crewmember, keeping the ship from sinking even in the direst situations.

A Stevedore’s skill with repairs is second to none. With a single action, they can fully restore a damaged station, instantly bringing key ship functions back online when it matters most.

With these abilities, a Stevedore captain brings resilience and sustainability to any fleet, ensuring that even the fiercest storms and bloodiest engagements don’t spell the end.

Meet the Captains!

Once part of the Royal Army, they are now deserters who formed their own bands of free pirates. Each crew pursues a different goal: treasure, plunder, revenge… Their naval tactics are as varied as their ambitions, ranging from direct assaults to cunning schemes. Hardened by a life at sea, they pose a great threat to the navy’s rule.

Ahoy, captains!

Are you ready to stand against the navy and claim your freedom in Red Rogue Sea? You’d better be prepared, because the survival rate won’t be high!

Each faction in Red Rogue Sea will have several captains available (and unlockable). Captains add two copies of a captain card to your tactical deck. These cards are powerful and unique, giving a distinctive specialization to your gameplay strategy.

Sharpen your tactics by combining them with other synergistic cards, and build your deck around them to maximize a specific playstyle. You won’t find two captains alike, so make sure to unlock them all by completing certain milestones during the game with the corresponding faction.

Today we introduce the first captain of the Merchants faction: Razdal.
Razdal served for years as a mercenary before enlisting, so he maintains contacts with his former comrades-in-arms. With him, you can include the “Mercenary” card in your deck, granting access to a mercenary who will fight for you for a limited number of combat rounds.

We end this post by also introducing the captain of the Renegades faction: Cornelis.
Cornelis was a high-ranking officer in the navy, one of the fiercest fighters and a renowned strategist. Under his command, you’ll gain access to the “Liberator” card, which provides extra movement to reposition your crew members more easily.

New Tactical Action: Bang!

The moon lights up the waves as gunpowder smoke engulfs the deck. The sound of gunfire and cries mixes with the creaking of ships colliding. Amid the chaos, you steady your musket, locking onto your next target.

Ahoy, gamers!

Think firing cannons from your ship isn’t enough? Bang! lets you wield a variety of firearms to attack or defend yourself.

Take the musket, for example - a weapon perfect for picking off crew members from enemy ships at a distance, keeping you out of harm’s way. However, it can’t be used at close range, so keep your distance!

Then there’s the blunderbuss, an ideal choice for close combat. Its short range is more than made up for by its sheer stopping power, capable of pushing back any enemy that dares cross your path.

And if chaos is what you’re after, the incendiary grog is your best friend. This fiery projectile sets ablaze wherever it lands, forcing enemies to spend precious resources putting out the flames before their ship becomes a floating inferno.

These weapons can be purchased in the shop or earned as rewards during your adventures.

New Tactical Action: Boarding!

"Through smoke and chaos, the clash of steel echoes across the deck. The roar of battle melds with the sea's endless song, and only the boldest claim victory."

Ahoy, Gamers!

This week, we’re unveiling a new tactical option in Red Rogue Sea: Boarding!

Boarding is a brave and daring action that lets you take the fight directly to enemy ships and fortified strongholds. By playing the Boarding tactical card, you'll have one harpoon at your disposal to launch your assault.

Use this tactic to board enemy vessels and cause chaos among their crew or breach formidable defenses. The sea is full of opportunities for those bold enough to grasp them.
