Dual Combat 2025 Roadmap Schedule

Our roadmap for the rest of 2025 has been finalized. Here's an outline of all the new features and updates we've scheduled and when to expect them:

Hey all, we've got our first patch out! Here's the new changes you can expect as of June 9, 2025. Our forums are open, so don't be afraid to share your ideas or any bugs you find.

  • [p]zone tab is now correctly highlighted when hovering or selecting. [/p]
  • [p]Fixed issue where title card would not show up upon entering level.[/p]

  • [p]Getting hit by a cannonball now displays proper visual effects[/p]
  • [p]Improved long loading times in levels 3-4, 3-5, 3-6. [/p]
  • [p]Fixed issue where sticky bombs would get trapped inside wooden crates.

  • [p]Updated textbox to display interaction button icon instead of arrow icon. [/p]
  • [p]Updated "skip" button to say "skip (hold)".[/p]
  • [p]Included various minor formatting improvements. [/p]
[p][/p][h3]Known Bugs[/h3]
  • [p]Investigating glitch where using the morph gun to morph an object while simultaneously teleporting it will displace it.[/p]
  • [p]Investigating bug where pushing a movable object towards a wall via the bomb launcher will cause it to rebound too early. [/p]
  • [p]Investigating glitch where bombs do not detonate while attached to enemy shield. (Currently unable to replicate so anyone who experiences this please drop a post in our 🐜 Bug Reporting sub forum 🐜)[/p]
  • [p]Investigating bug where morph gun objects can be pushed inside of each other under certain conditions. [/p]

That covers everything to expect in this patch update. Starting today we will be going on break for two weeks. After the break we will be back to bugfixes, alongside reworking the endgame cutscene and improving zone 3 optimization. Players can expect a new update by the end of the month. 1.0.0 | Known Issues / Upcoming Patch

The following is a list of known issues within Dual Combat as of June 3, 2025. These issues are as follows:

  • Identified an issue where sticky bombs would clip into wood crates when fired.
  • Identified an issue where bomb launcher would not reload after use.
  • Investigating an issue which causes excessive load times in Zone 3
  • Investigating an issue where morph gun ammo displaces block after deploying morph gun over teleporter
  • Identified several typos in the base-game final cutscene


Additionally, several QoL changes will be included in this upcoming patch. If players encounter any bugs not currently listed above, please let us know in our community forums. Players can expect a patch update to be deployed by the end of the week.

Dual Combat is OUT NOW!!

[h2]Folks, it's finally here! [/h2]

Dual Combat is now up for early access!! To celebrate, we will be ON SALE 15% OFF from now until June 9th. With the game's initial launch, players can experience the full campaign mode alongside the following base game features:
  • Unlocking accessories for both soldiers (accessible through the 'Hat Closet' menu)
  • Replaying levels and honing skills with the 'Level Select' mode
  • Jam out to Dual Combat tracks with the 'Music Player'
  • Personalize settings and accommodate for aspects like colorblindness in the 'Accessibility' sub-menu


[h3]🥞Building a Community to Save Chef Lupe🥞[/h3]

We are currently compiling a list of bugs that players may experience on initial launch, which we will be addressing ASAP. We will be posting more information within the next two days in both our announcements and Steam forums. If you find a bug and would like to contribute to our efforts, please drop a post in our 🐜Bug Reporting sub forum🐜.

In addition, we want to evolve Dual Combat into the best version it can be. That means we want to hear from YOU! Yes, you! Player feedback is important to us, so if you think of any ideas, suggestions, or improvements you would like to see in the game, let us know in our 💡Suggestions sub forum💡.

We've got a few things already cooking in the kitchen, so follow the game to be notified of updates and announcements. We will be using the Dual Combat Steam forums as our main communication hub until further notice. While celebrating this milestone, we will be taking a much needed break between June 8-22. However, before then we will be issuing a small patch update fixing a few bugs.
