Hey Officers!

Lost But Found started as a Game Jam game, and our devs working on this game were inexperienced, so some of the systems were too complicated for us to reference these following bugs.

Now, one of our senior devs has rewritten some of the aspects and routines of the game.

🪲 Table Upgrade Bug

We fixed an issue where sometimes the table upgrade is not saved or not retained for the following day. We rewrote the system for this.

🐞 Called Passengers Asking for Wrong Item Bug

We fixed this issue, by rewriting this system.

🐛 QR Code Reader Issue

We have disabled this item in a previous patch because of its buggy nature, we rewrote the system for this to make sure its all working as expected.

🐝 Infinite Black Market Glitch

There was an issue where players were able to sell a black market item multiple times to make money :) We patched this one.

Thank you for hanging in there, me and my team tested these new fixes, but we will be on the lookout for any recurring bugs. Feel free to use our Steam Community Forums to help us reference more bugs.

Again, a sincere apology here for my previous lead dev, it's the nature of software development. I know it's a bit late, but we will make sure the game has zero bugs with the upcoming updates.

We are back with a free content update: Arcade Update!

[h2]Arcade Building in Map[/h2]

This update adds a new building to the map, which features a pachinko game that you can pay money to play, and maybe profit? Well, it's based on your luck, mostly.



[h2]20 New Items[/h2]

This update also adds 20 new lost items, that you can return to your customers - or steal? We expect variations of new items will make for a more colorful run!



[h2]Bug fixes & QoL[/h2]

We added a few new QoL features and fixed some bugs. Now, in the map, you can visit a shop or building multiple times. All items now have better and more performant colliders. Additionally we balanced the cost of items for the Black Market.

Overall, we expect this update will be more comfortable to play in different difficulty modes.

[h2]Upcoming Update: Cafe Update[/h2]

We decided to prioritize Arcade Update before the Cafe Update, as it needs more testing to make sure it doesn't break the runs.



Yes, there will be a cafe where you can go and buy coffee, and other beverages. These drinks will have special effects for your run, make you work faster (caffeine right) or slow down patience bar etc.

Hey Officers!

We have had some feedbacks about low end laptops/PC's (even some beefy ones) having issues with a lot of items in the table causing lag, or heating up their laptop.

When we invesitaged the issue, we figured the colliders and Unity physics computation was causing this.



We fixed up all colliders of in game items manually with a better collider, and depending on our tests with low end devices, this issues should be all fixed. Let us know if you are having any performans related issues.

[h2]Upcoming Free Update: Cafe Update![/h2]

To give you a sneak peak from our upcoming free content update (you don't need to install any DLCs) which will be released on June 7th;



Yes, there will be a cafe where you can go and buy coffee. I repeat, you can drink coffee in the game. And other beverages. These drinks will have special effects for your run, make you work faster (caffeine right) or slow down patience bar etc.

This update will also add 20 new in-game lost items to spice up your runs. And additional functional items in stores.

The Terminals Update has just landed, bringing new items, mini-games, and quality-of-life improvements to Lost But Found! Get ready to handle even more lost belongings and test your skills in new ways. Here's what’s new:

🔹 New Passenger Items – Our artist added 20 more items that passengers lost, which would increase variety. And we already planned more items.

🔹 New Minigames – Some boarding passes are now incomplete! Solve the gate assignment puzzle before handing them over.

🔹 Cardboard Box Minigame – Use the Utility Knife to unbox surprise items! Cut along the taped lines and see what’s inside.

🔹 New Items in the Shop –

• Utility Knife – A must-have for opening sealed cardboard boxes.
  
• Sticker Booster Pack – Collect and trade stickers! Available in Common, Rare, and Legendary packs.
  

[h3]⚙️ Gameplay & Balance Updates[/h3]

🔹 Trash Can Penalty Removed – No more penalties for discarding unwanted items in any mode.

🔹 Boarding Passes Now Have Value – Completing the gate assignment minigame correctly rewards a higher payout.
