Early Access Roadmap

[p]Hello chefs![/p][p]Omelet You Cook has been available in early access for just over 2 months and in that time we've had 1 major update, 5 pseudo-weekly content updates, and 17 other minor patches. Today, let's talk about what you can expect for the future of Omelet You Cook.[/p][p][/p][p]As you can see from Hjalte's lovely graphic, we've got a clear plan for the next major update which will introduce the highly requested Endless mode. Before then we'll have 4 pseudo-weekly content updates. I say pseudo because we don't have a fixed schedule for when they'll release and some may end up being closer to 2 weeks if I can't clutch up.[/p][p][/p][p]After Endless mode, the plan is a little less clear. We know that our 1.0 release will include the Black Apron and a final confrontation with Principal Clucker that will hopefully bring some closure to the students of Middlesville Cafeteria.[/p][p][/p][p]Between Endless and 1.0, we know we'll have at least 4 more content updates but likely many more! We'll leave this section of the roadmap (as well as the timing) flexible so we can continue to listen to you chefs and address highly requested features and content. If there's anything you really want to see before 1.0, let us know in the comments or over on our Discord![/p][p][/p][p]As previously announced, the price of Omelet You Cook will increase slightly in a few days to reflect all the additional content and hard work we've put into the game. There will be another minor price increase sometime after the Endless mode update because that one will add a significant amount of replay value. So go tell your friends now is the cheapest you'll be able to buy Omelet You Cook for a long time while it's 20% off![/p][p][/p][p]Lastly I want to take a moment to thank all of you chefs! Hjalte even let me draw the graphic this time :)[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]We now have over 300 reviews, and somehow they're still 100% positive!!! This is our proudest accomplishment, and I really can't believe we're maintaining it. Last I checked we were in the top 5 most reviewed games at 100% positive on all of Steam! We're so so grateful for every chef who's left a review. It really helps the game reach more people and the numbers are reflecting that!

Speaking of numbers, we've now sold over 7,000 copies! Plus we have over 20,000 wishlists! Considering we had just 2,000 before launch, it's safe to say your reviews and recommendations to your friends (and NorthernLion) have helped catapult us to success!

We're so excited to keep cooking and making this the weirdest, goofiest, most chaotic roguelike on the market. We're getting close to squashing the remaining bugs and we very much appreciate your patience and assistance while we track them all down. Big thank you to everyone who's bought the game, left a review, reported bugs, gave us feedback or suggestions, and chatted with us here or over on Discord!
