Status Report!
Hello employees,
The demo has received its final polish — you're welcome. If you haven’t played it yet, consider this your gentle reminder (or let's call it a mandatory task with no deadline extensions). 😈

I’m polishing the final game — but even the boss needs fresh eyes. I still need playtesters to make sure everything is in top shape (or at least looks convincing enough).

Keys for playtesting are available via my Discord — join now, or face strongly worded emails in your dreams. 📝
(And yes, playtesters have a chance to earn a free copy of the game — consider it... a productivity bonus.)

Also, a new trailer is in production. It will be shiny, dramatic, and likely remind you that you're never truly off the clock. ⏳
The full release is coming in the next few months
The exact release date? I’ll let you know soon.

Back to work!

Demo update

 • Changed some art (Whiteboard, Flipchart, anomaly related)
 • Fixed russian translation

Mandatory Overtime: The Office After Hours Demo Update

Attention Slackers.

The Office After Hours demo has been updated, and I expect you to keep up. Productivity is everything, and I’ve made sure you have no excuses for underperformance. Here’s what’s new:
🔥 Overwork Hell – Phase 1 out of 3
Welcome to the first glimpse of what happens when you really push past your limits. Clock in and find out.
👀 Better Introduction
Too many of you were wandering around clueless. That’s unacceptable. Now, you’ll get a clearer start—so you can fail more efficiently.
🛠 Visual Enhancements
The office has had adjustments. Maybe you’ll actually notice them this time.
💀 Different Anomalies
Things are changing again. Keep up.
📢 Improved Feedback
No more “I didn’t know that was wrong!” Now you’ll know exactly when you’ve messed up. That means fewer excuses.

Clock in. Play the demo. And don’t disappoint me.

Final Notice
Do not forget to wishlist the game or leave a review on my desk ;)

Worker! Your time has come - report for duty in the playtest.
Your contract demands sacrifice!
I’m currently looking for playtesters on Steam to provide feedback on Office After Hours! Your input is invaluable and will help me refine the experience even further. If you’re interested, please feel free to reach out me on discord or X (links below).
Current State of the Game
The story mode is now almost complete, featuring 30 unique anomalies for you to discover, unravel, and survive. There are also more anomalies, that are not related to the story and you can discover them afterwards. I've also added collectible items so you can track your progress and uncover even more knowledge in the office. The core experience is in place, but I’m focusing on adding layers of polish to ensure every moment feels immersive, mysterious, and impactful.
Darker Atmosphere to Match the Vibe
I’ve transitioned to a darker, moodier lighting setup to better capture the eerie, tense atmosphere of the office.
Steam Page Refresh Incoming
I’m updating the Steam page soon! This includes new screenshots, an updated logo, and a more cohesive presentation that captures the current look and feel of the game. I’m also working hard on an updated trailer.

If you’re interested in playtesting or just want to share your thoughts, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Your feedback helps shape the final experience!

Development Update

Hello everyone!

I’m excited to share some development updates about Office After Hours. Over the past weeks, I’ve been hard at work bringing new features and experiences to life, all aimed at making the game even more engaging and unique. Here’s a sneak peek into what’s coming your way:
1. New Anomalies for a Unique Experience
I’m introducing new office-related anomalies that delve into the problems and suffering that can arise in a competitive office environment. These anomalies are designed to reflect the pressures of overwork, unrealistic deadlines, and office politics, immersing you in the emotional weight of these experiences.
2. Expanding the Game’s Environments
New environments are created to immerse you in the unsettling world of Office After Hours and show you the disturbing story behind the office.
3. Story Almost Complete
The game’s story is nearly finished. The narrative lets you delve into the dark side of overwork and corporate pressure, guiding you through new environments.
4. Cutscenes for Immersion
To make the game even more immersive, I’ve added cutscenes that bring key moments to life. These cinematic additions will deepen the story and help you connect with the game’s characters and world.
5. In-Game Death Mechanics
You can now face life-or-death stakes in Office After Hours! With the addition of a death mechanic, your decisions and actions will have greater consequences, adding to the tension and challenge.
6. New Functions and Features
I have added a zoom function so that even small details can be recognised.

Stay tuned for more updates as I continue refining Office After Hours. The current demo gives a glimpse of the game, but it’s now a bit out of date compared to what the final experience will offer. I’m considering updating the demo to reflect these exciting changes.

Thank you for being part of this journey.
