We have confirmed an issue in the Ministry of Science route where saving and loading may not function properly.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this may cause to our players.

[h3]Details of the Issue:[/h3]
When saving during the novel part and then loading again, players may sometimes be returned to the chart screen.
Depending on the save point, the scenario lock may not be lifted, resulting in the game progress getting blocked. (This does not occur for all players.)

We are currently investigating this issue and working to resolve it as quickly as possible.

[h3]Temporary Workaround:[/h3]
Please avoid saving during the novel part, and instead try saving after returning to the chart screen.
If the problem still persists, we kindly ask you to contact us via the support email address.

We have confirmed an issue where, if your Windows "Region and Language" setting is set to a language other than Japanese or English (Japan/United States), the game may experience black screens or significantly longer loading times. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this may cause.

We’re working on a fix, a patch will be released at a later date.
In the meantime, you can temporarily avoid the issue by setting your Windows language to something other than the following:

Indonesian, German, Italian, Spanish, French, Dutch, Belgian, Portuguese, Brazilian Portuguese, Luxembourgish, Swiss, Greek, or Turkish.

We apologize again for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience until the patch is available.

We are pleased to announce that Shuten Order now supports Steam cloud saves.
By enabling Steam Cloud in your Steam settings, your save data will automatically be backed up going forward.

We are also reviewing the feedback we have received from players and will continue to consider improvements.
