Soccer Manager 2025 News

This update is intended to resolve a couple of issues that came about with the release of the previous version - check out the list below:

FIXED
Resolved an issue where making all available substitutions in a quick match would cause the “Maximum number of substitutes will be exceeded” message to appear outside of matches.
Stamina & ratings bars will now update for your starting eleven as expected in matches.

KNOWN ISSUES
Players who are subbed on inherit the stamina & rating of who they replaced. A fix is planned for the next release.

We’d like to thank everyone who helped bring these issues to our attention so we could get them sorted. Your reports were useful in helping us find their causes.

Many Improvements and Bug Fixes including:
Fixed a large number of issues with job vacancies.
Fixed an issue where stadiums could appear pink.
Fixed an issue that caused “please enter a valid value” to appear when creating your own club.
Fixed an issue where losing the second leg of a cup competition would lose the tie, even if you were ahead on aggregate.
Resolved a large number of issues with tactics & player roles.

This update contains a number of bugfixes for issues that have been reported to us recently. We’ve also introduced the latest transfers that didn’t quite make it into the last update & re-introduced the game’s tutorial!

• New saves now include all latest transfers.
  
• New Basic tutorial was introduced.
  
• Training players are now sorted by rating progress.
  
• Double Training UI now displays correctly.
  
• International goals now show for the correct team.
  
• Road to Glory event numbers are fixed.
  
• National cup winners now qualify correctly.
  
• Scouting by attributes no longer resets.
  
• “Choose League” scouting works properly.
  
• Fixed infinite timer in penalty shootouts.
  
• International match reports no longer show all goals as away goals.
