It’s been a while since our last devlog - but we’re finally back and we’re coming stronger than ever 💥 Over the past months, we’ve been quietly working behind the scenes, experimenting, testing and polishing new ideas to make every run in Hobby Horse more exciting, dynamic and rewarding.
Today, we’re excited to show you some of the brand-new run mechanics we’ve been adding to the game. These aren’t just small tweaks - they’re features designed to change how you move, how you take risks and how you approach each track. And trust us.. this is just the beginning 👀✨

[h3]🟦 Trampolines - Turn Momentum into Air Time![/h3]
Trampolines add a whole new layer of flow to your runs. Hitting one at the right height and timing your jump well, lets you launch into the air, clear obstacles or reach boosts and paths that would normally be out of reach 🚀 They reward good timing and bold decisions - use them smartly and you can completely change the pace and outcome of a race!
[h3]⚖️ Rails - Balance Your Way to Shortcuts[/h3]
Rails introduce a brand-new challenge: balance. Stay steady and you’ll be rewarded! Riding a rail lets you take shortcuts, avoid hazards like mud patches, or simply reach places you couldn’t before.
Mess up your balance, though.. and down you go 😅 High risk, high reward!
[h3]💥 Breakable Walls - Smash Through Obstacles![/h3]
Remember the boost from the demo? Now it has a brand-new use! Collecting a special boost allows you to break through walls and obstacles blocking your path. Instead of slowing down or detouring, you can go full power and smash straight through 💪
Perfect for aggressive runs and last-second saves!

Just a quick heads-up:
Some visuals shown in the GIFs are still work in progress. For example, rails don’t have their final graphics yet and trampoline visuals may change depending on the map 😊
