We don't have an exact date for the next update just yet, but we're approximately halfway there, with the beta dropping a couple of weeks before that.

We know that some of you are feeling frustrated with the lack of information provided by a long-term roadmap. We understand and apologize for that, but we don't want to spoil upcoming plans before certain things happen in the game, and before we're far enough along with our post-arc development to communicate that to you.

But rest assured that these plans are entirely based on your love of Don't Starve, the lore, and our desire to do the best that we can to return that passion and support. The game has a great future ahead of it, and we can't wait to share those details with you the moment that we can.

Bug Fixes

• Fixed crash due to network sync issues when connecting to some servers.
  
• Fixed a crash when interacting with a c_spawn("deck_of_cards").
  
• Fixed sound loops sometimes not stopping when closing JIMBO’s screen.
  
• Fixed JIMBO not scoring high straights properly.
  
• Fixed JIMBO scoring straights when they shouldn’t be.
  
• Fixed autumn combat music being too soft.
  

A short while back, Don't Starve became Friends with Jimbo. Now it’s time for us to ante up - so we've included a couple of small surprises in Don't Starve Together for you to enjoy. 



For the next week, players will be able to claim the Fools Crown skin for the Bee Queen crown for free by logging in. After that time, you will be able to weave the item with spools or find it in a random drop.



And if you play your cards right, you might even find JIMBO waiting for you lurking around somewhere in the Constant. Well, I guess that depends on what you consider luck.  



On the subject of Klei Rewards: if you missed some recent login goodies, The Rift of the NecroDancer Harmonic Riftwear and Mind Over Magic Thorny Twizzle skins are now up for grabs over on Klei Rewards.

Fan mail comes in all shapes and sizes, many with heartfelt expressions of enjoyment. But one of the most inquisitive questions a fan asked was the following: "What would Wilson look like without his beard?" Since no one has ever witnessed this before, we had an artist draw it to see what this could look like.

The results were varied when it was shown to the team. A few adverted their eyes, some gasps, and the one who always sits in the back presented a broad grin. One of the more learned here was reminded of a toy from their youth. A simple device used to draw hair onto a face by moving some metal shavings with a magnet.

Once started on memory lane, other memories like to resurface. Antics with friends. Time spent waiting for the perfect punch line delivery. A story that ensnares your interest. Joke books full of gadgets that claim to mystify and delight your friends with their use.

Why share this fan mail now? Well it is that time of year where yarns are weaved, tales are told, and pranks afoot. Some truth, some misdirection, but all in good fun.
