Welcome to the Lab... Or the Living Room? You’ll Know Now
Mission sectors now have distinct themes—labs, residential zones, industrial spaces—each with fitting layouts and furniture. Because even the end of reality needs good interior design.



Abandoned Tools, Cryptic Notes, and a Whole Lot of Atmosphere
Laptops, tools, and cryptic documents now fill out the rooms, adding to the atmosphere and telling the story of the disasters and dangers you will witness. They’re just props... probably.



Menus That Won’t Kill the Mood—or You
All planned UI updates are done, making your navigation smoother and your existential crisis slightly more manageable. Log screens allow you to view all your past missions and get a better understanding of all the weapons and enemies you have discovered.



Universal Multiverse Appeal
We’ve integrated Unity’s localisation framework so Void Scout can easily be made accessible to players around the globe in their language of choice.

Mission Goals at a Glance:
Your current objective will now stay visible as you explore, so even when you’re sprinting away from danger, you’ll know exactly what you’re supposed to be doing. No more forgetting why you’re here!



Mini-Map Navigation:
Need a little help getting around? Now there’s a mini-map to reveal your surroundings. It remembers every room you’ve explored, helping you plot your escape and get the drop on enemies.



Death Animations (Now With Extra Impact!):
Enemies won’t just go down—they’ll go down in style. New death animations make each weapon impact unique, and if you’re packing enough firepower, some hits might just blow them apart.



Adaptive Soundscapes:
We’ve added a dynamic soundtrack that reacts to what’s happening around you. The music adapts to your situation and the type of enemies you’re facing, so each mission has a different vibe depending on the danger level and content.

Updated UI for Better Awareness:
The UI now tells you at a glance if you’re in combat or just exploring. Plus, we’ve added a timer to show how long you’ve been in each sector—a crucial stat if you’re aiming to maximize your mission rewards!
