  • Reordered the synergies in databank to fit the order of augments and perks.

  • Added color correction accessibility settings.
  • Weapon cosmetics in the customization screen are now sorted by what’s been unlocked first, then rarity.

  • Fixed an issue where Components were being shared between co-op players instead of being individual drops.
  • Fixed an issue where the exit doors would immediately open instead of waiting for the player to finish selecting from their loot orb.
  • Fixed an issue where the fabricator would sometimes open to the Upgrade screen instead of the shop for joining players in co-op.
  • Fixed an issue where grenades would stop working when using burst weapons.
  • Fixed an issue where players could get the ping wheel stuck on, causing a soft lock.
  • Fixed an issue where a bot could potentially spawn in a wall in Keep it Together, sector 26.
  • Fixed an issue where stats would not be saved when saving/loading a checkpoint, and would display incorrectly in the end of run screen.
  • Fixed an issue where the Total Run Time in the stats viewer would not correctly display times greater than 24 hours.
  • Fixed an issue where enemies in the Stat Viewer would not load if you were a joining client in co-op.
  • Fixed an issue where the Hornet bot was never visible in the Bestiary.
  • Fixed an issue where Seeking Turret, Admiral, and Siphon homing attacks were not showing their explosion FX.
  • Fixed an issue where Companion bots would sometimes not get stealthed.
  • Fixed an issue where the final boss dialogue was not being correctly interrupted if you selected an ending while it was still playing.
  • Fixed an issue where you could inspect your weapon while aiming down sights.
  • Fixed an issue where the Dome Shield synergy would not work for joining clients in co-op.
  • Fixed an issue where loot orbs were not showing on the minimap.
  • Fixed an issue where the Plasma Cycler was getting dropped at lower rarities.
  • Fixed an issue where grenade cooldown animation would play when exiting certain screens (fabricator, customization screen, stat viewer)
  • Fixed an issue where upgrade text would overflow in the equipment tooltip.
  • Fixed an issue where the gamepad swap weapon prompt was not being shown on the HUD.

- Fixed an issue where the comparison tooltip would not show in the fabricator.
- Fixed an issue where the Siphon boss’s multi-laser attack was sometimes perpendicular instead of pointed at the ground.
- Fixed an issue where the Admiral mini boss would not spawn in the middle of the room in Nightmare Spearhead.
- Fixed an issue where players could get softlocked if a party member disconnected while a leech is attached to them.
- Fixed an issue where Companion bots couldn’t hit certain bots.
- Fixed an issue where Companion bots would randomly die.
- Fixed the Deadeye hit react not working
- Fixed an issue where the minigun would sometimes not spin up.
- Fixed an issue where CTAs would not clear from the Threats tab in the Stats viewer.
- Fixed an issue where the EULA could not be accepted when attempting to log in through the multiplayer menu.
- Fixed an issue where if the player started the game with a gamepad, the first time difficulty select would show the wrong description.

Recommended Driver, Gameplay Updates, and Fixes

Recommended Driver for Game Performance
  • The latest NVIDIA driver versions on the R580 release branch (580.88 and 580.97) have a known critical performance issue which can result in the application crashing.

  • Our recommended NVIDIA driver version is now 576.88 which has been verified to not be affected by this issue.

  • If you are experiencing frequent crashes playing Deadzone: Rogue on NVIDIA hardware, we suggest checking your installed driver version to see if it is affected. The NVIDIA driver team is aware of the issue and is working to resolve it in a future driver update.

    [h2]How to check your NVIDIA driver version[/h2]
  • Open the NVIDIA Control Panel: Right-click on your desktop and select "NVIDIA Control Panel".
  • Access System Information: In the NVIDIA Control Panel, click "System Information" located in the bottom-left corner.
  • Locate Driver Version: The driver version will be listed next to the "Driver Version" field within the system information window. Note that this usually represents the last five digits of the full version number.
  • If Affected: If your driver is 580.88 or 580.97, consider visiting the Nvidia website to download the recommended driver instead or another version of your choice.

  • Reduced bot counts in Get Out of My Head on Adventure, Normal, and Hard.
  • Moved the Super Item Reroll reward to Keep it Together.

[h2]General Gameplay[/h2]
  • Added an upgrade ready notification upon returning to the starting ship. This can be disabled in the settings.
  • When viewing the upgrade station, the tab for the first available upgrade will automatically be selected
  • Added a sound when players bounce on the couch (critical issue).
  • Updated the hover state in the fabricator to be a little more obvious.
  • Added glows to the data logs.
  • Added gamepad scrolling in the Sig-Mail menu.
  • Updated default gamepad sensitivity and aiming values.
  • Gamepad deadzone settings are now displayed as a percentage. Updated default to 20%.

  • Fixed a softlock in Spearhead caused from the Aegis bot spawning behind terrain
  • Another fix to address the leech causing players to get into a bad state.
  • Fixed an issue where the in-world equipment tooltip would show a default test sniper if the player was in front of the drop when it spawned.
  • Fixed an issue for gamepad input where tooltips in the fabricator would overlap with its neighbor.
  • Fixed an issue where the Stats tracker was not properly tracking successful runs.
  • Fixed an issue where the “Return to Ship” prompt option would show as “Abandon Run” in one of the possible endings.
  • Fixed an issue where items in a saferoom would despawn if one player left the room before other players.
  • Fixed an issue where super items were not displaying their upgrade level (and therefore not displaying the right description) in the Datalog menu
  • Fixed an issue where elemental proc kills would not trigger the Ghost Blade perk, the Locked and Loaded perk, and Switch Hitter synergy.
  • Fixed an issue where Psionic Slam would not properly work with grenades.
  • Fixed an issue where consuming a damaged barrel with Barrel Chested would still cause an explosion.
  • Fixed an issue where perks and augments were not being populated in the end-of-run screen if your run ended after you loaded a checkpoint.
  • Fixed an issue where swapping weapons while stealthed would cause a player’s 3P weapon to unstealth.
  • Fixed an issue where the tornados in the final boss fight would sometimes not despawn after defeating the boss.
  • Fixed an issue where homing turret missile rotation would not be set correctly for joining clients in co-op.
  • Fixed an issue where the Turret bot was using the wrong stagger animation.
  • Fixed an issue where hit reacts on bots were not working properly.
  • Fixed an issue where the equip sound would not play when equipping an item using a gamepad.
  • Fixed an issue where a Plasma Ball would stick around indefinitely after an encounter was over.
  • Fixed an issue where Super Items would always show a breadcrumb as if they had an available upgrade after they were all maxed out.
  • Fixed an issue where voice input/output device settings were sometimes not applied correctly.

    - Pinging an item for teammates now shows its element and level.
    - Voice Chat settings have their own settings tab page.
    - Updated the fabricator reroll from Y/Triangle to R3 on gamepad. This is to resolve an issue where opening the fabricator on gamepad would automatically use the reroll reward.
    - First time difficulty select is now d-pad navigable.

    - Fixed a potential crash on startup.
    - Fixed a potential softlock where the Carrier Turrets could potentially go through terrain and not be killable.
    - Fixed an issue where players could get stuck in a state where they could not shoot or interact after pulling off a leech.
    - Fixed a potential softlock in the Redline mission where bots could get under some stairs and not be killable.
    - Fixed background audio and audio language settings not being auto-applied when you launched the game.
    - Fixed an issue where the weapons could go through the fabricator and not be accessible.
    - Fixed an issue where Dr. Jason was incorrectly on one of Lt. Jace's logs.
    - Fixed an issue where co-op peer to peer disclaimer would overlap with friends list.
    - Fixed an issue where the Nova Badge was clipping out of bounds on social player display.
    - Fixed a few spots where players could sneak out of the ship.


This patch includes more fixes for common issues, along with a few Quality of Life adjustments!
