Devlog #1

[p]Hello everyone, and welcome to this very first Devlog about the playtest update and the creation of Mesoké’s new worlds.
[/p][p]First of all, a huge thank you for your support.

It means a lot to me especially as a solo developer trying to bring this poetic vision to life.
Your feedback and impressions are incredibly valuable as I improve the game and prepare the upcoming demo.

Playtest Update & Demo Preparation

Thanks to your feedback, I’ve improved several aspects of the current playtest.
An update will be released in the next few days, including:[/p]
  • [p]Improved clarity of the Chi collection/spending system[/p]
  • [p]A more polished and guided introduction[/p]
  • [p]A new boost power-up[/p]
  • [p]An observation area in each world[/p]
  • [p]Improvements to the Inner Palace HUB[/p]
  • [p]An automatic framerate detection & graphic adjustment system[/p]
  • [p]Various fixes and small additions[/p]
[p]Your feedback will continue to help me refine Mesoké and complete the demo that’s coming soon.

New Worlds & New Assets

Over the past few days, I’ve been working on several new environments.
Here’s a first look at two of them:

The Basalt Cavern[/p][p]A mysterious underground space filled with shimmering crystalline formations, blending mineral and organic shapes in a dense, resonant, slightly ethereal atmosphere.

The Ancient Ruin[/p][p]A forgotten world where stone overtakes old structures.
Its atmosphere is calm, nostalgic, coloured by golden foliage and soft pink ground tones.

New assets [/p][p]To build these landscapes, I created many new assets, including Basalt-style rock formations and Vegetation inspired by weeping willow.
These will help enrich Mesoké’s worlds and visual identity.

Thank you so much for taking the time to follow Mesoké’s development.
Your feedback is greatly appreciated and will help me shape this journey into something truly unique and memorable.

If you’re interested in the game, don’t forget to wishlist it on Steam.

The Playtest will stay open a little longer

[p]Hello everyone,[/p][p]Many of you have joined the Mesoké Playtest, and I’ve still received new access requests over the past few days.
Instead of closing it today as originally planned, I’ve decided to keep it open a little longer, so everyone can experience the game at their own pace.[/p][p]This Playtest remains a work-in-progress build, not representative of the final version:
There’s no save system yet, some screen resolutions aren’t supported, and you may still encounter small rough edges here and there.
But your feedback and feeling are truly valuable.[/p][p]Thank you to everyone who has already taken a quiet moment to fly through Mesoké’s world.
Your messages, your wishlists, and your curiosity all help me move forward with gratitude and confidence.

Mesoké – Public Playtest

[p]Hello everyone,[/p][p]I’m very happy to announce that the public playtest for Mesoké is now open! It will remain available until October 31, before I take a short pause to update the build based on your feedback.[/p][p]This version is a very early, non-final build — its purpose is to gather impressions, identify bugs, and refine the gameplay feeling. You’ll be able to experience the first 3 Worlds of flight, explore the Inner Palace, and get a taste of Mesoké’s contemplative atmosphere.[/p][p]Please note:[/p]
  • [p]This version is limited in content and not representative of the final release.[/p]
  • [p]Some bugs or minor issues may occur — this is expected at this stage.[/p]
  • [p]Ultra-wide resolutions and non-16:9 formats are not yet completly supported.[/p]
  • [p]There is no save system or Key Mapping in this build.[/p]
[p]You can share feedback and bug reports directly on the community discussion boards — it helps immensely.

And if you enjoy this first glimpse, please consider adding Mesoké to your wishlist — every bit of support truly matters.[/p][p]Thank you for taking part in this early journey,
