1 YEAR OF 7 DAYS

Hello 7-dayers!

(I'm a little late to posting this on Steam, but...)

THANKS FOR ONE YEAR OF 7 DAYS!


It's been a full year since I started development of 7 Days. What started as a silly idea in my head, has now turned into my passion project. It's incredible to see how big this game has gotten over the past year and to see how many people care for this lil thing ! I'm truly grateful for all your support and interest !

I'm still working on day 6, but here's something interesting:

As preparation for Next Fest in June, I've updated the demo for 7 Days!
This adds and fixes a couple things:

  • Fixed multiple grammar/spelling mistakes
  • Updated Player Sprites
  • Added new title screen and music
  • Updated save/load screen
  • Updated credits
  • Added Discord Rich Presence
  • The game changes the window name based on how much you progressed in game
  • Fixed Day 2 ending (if you did the "bad" route, it would use the dialogue for the good one)
  • Updated Poem Cutscene and music in Day 2
  • Updated Your Room music
  • Added collectibles (Lost photos and MP3)
  • Added Xbox and Playstation Controller Support
  • The ramen noodles look like ramen noodles now
  • Switched credits and exit game button place on main menu
  • Changed music in Day 2 flashbacks (Do You Remember?)
  • Added hole cutscene in Day 2
  • Removed "lore" from library in Day 2
  • Reduced intro cutscenes
  • Removed abillity to skip, this would break some cutscenes if the player held Z
  • Added the ability to play the K-pop cd on the boombox, instead of asking Aria for permission



These have been updates I've been making over the past year, but now they're included in the demo aswell! Now the demo is the best it'll be, just in time for Next Fest!
