Piece by Piece News

Thank you for celebrating the launch of Piece by Piece with us!

[p]Hi everyone,[/p][p]It has officially been one week since Piece by Piece launched.[/p][p]First, thank you. Launch week has been incredible for us. Seeing so many of you jump in, solve puzzles, experiment, share feedback, report bugs, and leave kind words has meant a lot to our team. Releasing a game is one thing. Watching people actually play it, talk about it, and connect with it is something else entirely. [/p][p]If you are connecting with it, we'd love if you could leave a review. Reviews make a huge difference to an indie game like ours, and we'd love to hear your thoughts on the game! [/p][p][dynamiclink][/dynamiclink]You may have also seen all the love surrounding the other Piece by Piece game, so of course, we had to celebrate each other! You can now grab the Piece by Piece Double Bundle. If you want to support both teams, you can find it here:
[dynamiclink][/dynamiclink]A cozy shopkeeping sim and a literal puzzle platformer. Same name. Very different vibes. Somehow it works.[/p][p]We’ve also just pushed a small post-launch update based on early feedback and bug reports. Here’s what changed:[/p]
 • [p]Added Controller Vibration to make puzzle solving more haptic[/p]
 • [p]Added an option to turn off Controller Vibration in the settings menu[/p]

 • [p]Added Exclusive Fullscreen option[/p]
 • [p]Window Mode option is now a dropdown[/p]
 • [p]Languages dropdown menu is now smaller and scrollable[/p]
 • [p]Fixed small dropdown menu showing a slider even when unnecessary[/p]
 • [p]Gamepad icons for Options tab navigation now adapt their positions based on language[/p]
 • [p]Added option to disable floating UI[/p]
 • [p]Game version now only displays in the main menu[/p]
 • [p]Fixed tutorial text not changing on mouse movement or input[/p]
 • [p]F11 now changes to fullscreen, not exclusive fullscreen[/p]
 • [p]Fixed an issue where the debug menu would appear when pressing F1 twice[/p]
 • [p]Fixed some VSync issues[/p]
 • [p]Fixed an issue where players could not jump out of a portal without being forced into it[/p]
[p]Technical[/p]
 • [p]Added DirectX 12 as a launch option (Most players should not need this, but it may help if you have issues running the game with Vulkan)[/p]
[p]Thank you again for an amazing first week. We’re excited to keep improving the game and share more about what you can expect for the future of Piece by Piece in the coming weeks.

Cheers [/p]

Piece by Piece is OUT NOW – Launch Stream & Live Gameplay

[p]Piece by Piece is a literal puzzle platformer where every level is made from jigsaw puzzle pieces you manipulate to solve platforming challenges.[/p][p][/p][p]This is our launch stream showing live gameplay, puzzle mechanics, and several levels from the full game.[/p][p][/p][p]• 100 handcrafted levels[/p][p]• 12 unique puzzle boxes[/p][p]• Creative puzzle mechanics using individual pieces[/p][p][/p][p]The full game is available now on Steam.[/p]

Piece by Piece is OUT NOW!

[p]We're so excited for you to start solving puzzles! We’ve been quietly obsessing over tiny details, rotating things that probably didn’t need rotating, and snapping puzzle pieces together at unreasonable hours. It’s finally time to let you do the same.

Piece by Piece is available NOW!

This is not your typical puzzle platformer, this is a literal puzzle platformer. Each level is built out of jigsaw pieces, where the level is the puzzle and the puzzle is the level. [/p][p][/p]
What Awaits You
• [p]100 handcrafted levels designed to challenge how you think about space, movement, and connection.[/p]
 • [p]12 unique puzzle boxes, each introducing new mechanics and layered twists that build on what you’ve learned (and occasionally what you thought you learned).[/p]
 • [p]A cozy, tactile world where every interaction feels deliberate, from snapping pieces into place to discovering unexpected solutions.[/p]
 • [p]Mechanics that evolve constantly: connect, rotate, flip, clone, traverse, and manipulate pieces to reshape the path forward.[/p]
[p]A calm, atmospheric presentation paired with an ethereal soundtrack that helps players stay in flow.

[/p]
Built Piece by Piece
[p]What started as a game jam experiment grew into something much larger. The core idea was simple: what if puzzle pieces weren’t just the solution, but the environment itself? From there, every level became an exploration of that question.[/p][p]The result is a game about observation, creativity, and the quiet satisfaction of making something fit exactly where it belongs.[/p]
Try Before You Buy
[p]If you haven’t yet, the demo is available now and offers a short look at the mechanics and tone of the full experience. More challenging puzzles await in the full release.
