Update v3.15

[p]Cold Bed on Route Version 3.15 Update[/p][p]Apologies — we missed a bug in the previous update where having certain items upon landing on a planet could cause the game to behave incorrectly. This has now been fixed. We’re truly sorry for the serious bug that could prevent progression. Details below:

[/p]
Bug Fixes
• [p]Fixed an issue where the game could become unplayable if the player landed on a planet while carrying certain items.[/p]
Specification Changes
• [p]Previously, if you lit the lamp in the main story and then switched to a side story, the presence of a chair in the main story could also prevent progress in the side story. This behavior has been changed so that side stories can now proceed regardless of the main story’s state.[/p]
UI Adjustments
• [p]Adjusted keyboard control display on the side story start screen and the ITEM screen.[/p]
 • [p]Adjusted the positions of some flowers.[/p]
[p]

[/p][p]Thank you for playing.[/p]

Update v3.14

[p]Cold Bed on Route has been updated to version 3.14! A nicely rounded version number. [/p][p]Here are the details of the update:

[/p]
New Features
• [p]The main game can now be fully operated using only the keyboard. The supported keys are: arrow keys (or W/A/S/D), C, Q, E, and Z (used only to call the exit panel). Keyboard controls are currently available only in the main story.[/p]
Bug Fixes
• [p]Fixed an issue where some lines on the start screen and map screen were getting cut off.[/p]
 • [p]During planetary actions, when HP was between 0.0 < HP < 0.005, it used to display as 0.0. It will now correctly display as 0.1.[/p]
UI Adjustments
• [p]Keyboard operation hints now appear in the top-right corner on most controllable screens.[/p]
 • [p](On the clear result screen, they appear in the top-left due to layout constraints.)[/p]
 • [p]On the ITEM screen, item slots were becoming too wide on larger screens. Now, their maximum width is limited to the height.[/p]
 • [p]In screens like LOG, when an item has a very long name, it used to overlap with nearby UI elements. Now such names are truncated, e.g., “Extremely Long Item Name” becomes “Extremely Long It…”.[/p]
 • [p]On the MEMO screen, the table of contents was overlapping with the main content. It has been shifted slightly to the left.[/p]
 • [p]On the BAG screen, the window space between the pilot and the girl has been widened.[/p]
 • [p]On the BAG screen, when hovering over an item and it enlarges, the edges of the icon are no longer cut off.[/p]
 • [p]Adjusted color highlighting for 6-action selections on the Route screen.[/p]
 • [p]On the Trail screen, graph axis numbers were hard to see in white, so they have been changed to black.[/p]
 • [p]Made a few tweaks to the opening illustration.[/p]
Other
• [p]Improved responsiveness and usability of the BAG screen.[/p]
[p]

At last, keyboard-only controls are now available![/p][p]That said, the keyboard operation might feel a bit clunky at times. This feature is more of a stepping stone toward full controller support, so we still recommend combining it with mouse controls for a better experience.[/p][p]Also, several UI elements such as ITEM, MEMO, and BAG hadn’t been properly optimized for wide PC screen layouts.[/p]
 • [p]We’ve made the following minor adjustments:[/p]
 • [p]ITEM: Prevented item slots from becoming excessively wide.[/p]
 • [p]MEMO: Used some of the empty space to improve layout.[/p]
 • [p]BAG: Slightly extended the screen width horizontally.[/p]

Update v3.13

[p]Cold Bed on Route has been updated to version 3.13.[/p][p]Although version 3.12 was considered a stable release and we initially planned to focus on adding features like keyboard controls, this update primarily addresses an issue found in v3.12. Additionally, some specifications have been changed.

[/p][p]Specification Changes[/p]
 • [p]The "Use" button at the bottom center of the ITEM screen and the "Move" button on the MAP screen now require a long press instead of a single click.[/p]
 • [p]By "long press," we mean a brief 0.5-second hold, similar to the duration required for discarding items.[/p]
[p]Bug Fixes[/p]
 • [p]Fixed an issue where the "Close" button in the bottom-right corner of event conversations was not being displayed.[/p]
[p]

Note on Input Changes

These two actions—"Use" and "Move"—are critical for decision-making. To prevent accidental presses, we have changed their activation to require a slight (0.5-second) long press.[/p]

Update v3.12

[p]Cold Bed on Route has been updated to v3.12.[/p][p]Here are the details:

[/p]
New Features
• [p]Windowed Mode Added. You can now switch between fullscreen and windowed mode. This option is the third item from the top on the right side of the start screen. Each press toggles the display mode, and selecting “Restart” from the displayed panel will restart the game and apply the new screen size.[/p]
Balance & Gameplay Changes
• [p]When playing as a character other than the "Girl" in the side story, the stamp attack (a red circle appears and you dash into enemies again) will no longer be triggered after a dash attack. The tutorial text has also been updated accordingly.[/p]
UI Tweaks & Bug Fixes
• [p]Fixed an issue where players could perform a dash attack on enemies that had already been defeated and were falling in the side story mode.[/p]
 • [p]Disabled VSync to prevent graphical issues (such as abnormal drawing speed) reported by players using high refresh rate monitors.[/p]
[p]

About the VSync Change: [/p][p]Some users with high refresh rate monitors reported abnormal rendering behavior (possibly due to the game running too fast). To address this, we’ve turned off VSync.[/p][p]However, we currently do not have access to a high refresh rate monitor for testing, so this fix is based on our best assumptions.[/p][p]If the issue still persists, we’re very sorry — please report it again so we can investigate further.[/p][p]

About the New Windowed Mode:[/p][p]We've also implemented windowed mode support in this update.[/p][p]Please note: changing the screen mode does not take effect immediately upon button press.[/p][p]After selecting the windowed/fullscreen toggle, you'll need to click “Restart” on the displayed panel to apply the change and restart the game.[/p][p]

A Small Note from the Developer:[/p][p]It took a while to implement windowed mode, and to be honest, I hadn’t anticipated this feature request at all — mainly because I always play in fullscreen mode myself.[/p][p]That said, thinking about it now... it’s true that most games allow toggling between fullscreen and windowed mode.[/p][p]I had a realization: “Oh right, most games do support that... the game industry is more polished than I thought!”[/p]

Update v3.11

[p]Cold Bed on Route has been updated to version 3.11.[/p][p]The details of the update are as follows:

[/p]
Bug Fixes & UI Adjustments
• [p]Fixed a bug where, if a container with supplies had its DR reduced to 0 on a planet and its contents were scattered as DROPs, attempting to collect them from the BAG screen would cause abnormal behavior.[/p]
 • [p]Fixed an issue where mouse hover did not work correctly for containers in the BAG screen when hovering over item names on a planet.[/p]
 • [p]Fixed a bug where background music would overlap when returning to the title screen via the system button in the bottom left corner.[/p]
 • [p]Adjusted button highlight colors and border thickness throughout the UI.[/p]
[p]

While not a frequently occurring issue, the handling of container destruction on planets — which could potentially lead to progression-blocking bugs — has now been properly addressed.[/p][p]When a container is destroyed, its contents are scattered in the surrounding area. However, during this process, a variable meant to track "which box (if any) an item is in" was not being processed correctly. As a result, the system would try to reference something that no longer existed, leading to errors.[/p][p]This type of bug, when triggered, would interrupt subsequent processing. As a result, items could be duplicated or even replaced with "nothingness." We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused.[/p]
