Wired for the Future

Where do we come from and where are we going? ⚡

It’s only been a few days since Electrician Simulator VR launched, and we’re truly grateful for the warm welcome. So many of you have joined our community and shared your thoughts, feedback, and impressions — and we couldn’t be more thankful. Your messages, reviews, and engagement on Discord have helped shape the direction we’re heading, and we’re excited to keep improving the game together with you. ⚡

As we flip the switch on what’s next, it’s time to take a step back and reflect on how far we’ve come — and show you where we’re headed.
🔌 Where We Come From?
If you've been with us from the start, you probably know that Electrician Simulator VR is much more than just a port of the original Electrician Simulator. It’s a complete rework — not just in terms of interactivity, but in how the entire gameplay experience is delivered in virtual reality.

From precise hand movements to fully immersive interactions, every mission has been redesigned to take full advantage of VR. Plugging in wires, installing outlets, testing systems — it’s no longer point-and-click, it’s hands-on and reactive. We wanted you to feel like you're really doing the job — and maybe even have a laugh when things go sideways. 🔥😄

Of course, it hasn’t been without its challenges. Supporting multiple headsets (including Valve Index), adjusting hand poses, tweaking sensitivity, and improving clarity in tutorials — these are just a few of the things we’re actively working on right now. The next update is right around the corner, and yes, we’re just getting started.
Changes Coming in Next Week's Patch
• HTC Vive (1st gen) support – will be released as a hotfix. Support was tricky due to the limited number of inputs on the controllers, but the control scheme was reworked to ensure smooth gameplay. It took quite a bit of effort!
 • Refreshed tutorials – the previous ones felt a bit clunky and required too much guesswork. All tutorials have been rebuilt from scratch for a smoother and more intuitive learning experience.
 • Input and UI improvements – better interactions for opening/closing the shop, along with more convenient navigation within the clipboard.
 • Access to previous dad voicelines – it's now possible to review what the father character said via the clipboard, in case anything was missed or forgotten.
 • New poses, improved SFX, minor bug fixes, and other small polish updates.
🗺️ Where We're Going — The Roadmap
⚡ April 2025 – Electrical Systems Update
This update will bring region-specific electrical standards into the game—not as something players must adapt to during missions, but as an option they can freely choose. You’ll be able to switch between different systems (such as European or American) directly from the settings, allowing you to play using the electrical standards that interest you the most. It adds flexibility, variety, and extra immersion without locking players into one specific format.

🔧 May 2025 – Mission Pack #1
We’re bringing you a fresh batch of missions — VR-specific design in mind. You’ll meet new clients, explore new locations, and take on entirely new challenges. Just like the base game, this pack will combine logic-based tasks with a touch of absurd humor, because in the world of Electrician Simulator, things rarely go 100% according to plan.

🧰 June 2025 – Workbench Update
It’s time to get even more hands-on! The Workbench Update introduces detailed repair mechanics for small devices and modules. Think of this as your own tiny electronics lab, where you’ll use precision tools to fix damaged gadgets — soldering, testing, replacing components. This will be the update for players who love detail and interaction.

🏡 July 2025 – Mission Pack #2
Even more variety is coming to the experience — with new scenarios ranging from realistic jobs to unexpected tasks inspired by pop culture. Some of these missions will pay subtle homage to iconic TV shows, adding a fun twist for fans who enjoy spotting references. You'll also notice deeper storytelling, as well as alternative ways to complete objectives, giving you the freedom to approach things your own way.

♾️ September 2025 – Endless Mode
You asked for replayability — we're delivering it. Endless Mode will let you take on procedurally generated jobs and repairs without the limits of a storyline. This mode is perfect for players who want to jump in, get their hands dirty, and enjoy the core gameplay in bite-sized or extended sessions. It’ll be a great way to keep coming back to the game after completing the main content.

Each update in our roadmap is designed to build on the core experience, offering new layers of gameplay, realism, and fun. Whether you're diving into region-specific installations, helping quirky clients, or mastering intricate repair work at your own workbench — there's something new for everyone. And once you’ve completed all the missions, Endless Mode will be there to keep the wires buzzing.

Is that everything? Maybe... maybe not. Stick around and see what else we might plug in.

More Than Just Wires
Hey there, Electricians! ⚡
A game filled with great interactions and mechanics is important, but without personality, it can feel empty and lifeless—just a playground without any real purpose. That’s why in Electrician Simulator VR, we didn’t just focus on the tools and tasks; we made sure the world itself has a distinct character, filled with humor and unexpected moments that keep every mission fresh and engaging.

From bizarre client requests to absolute chaos caused by faulty wiring, we wanted to ensure that your time spent in the game is more than just work—it’s fun, immersive, and sometimes completely ridiculous.

The Humor Behind the Wires

Not every game needs a deep and complex story, but that doesn’t mean it should lack personality. Electrician Simulator VR is filled with funny, unexpected moments that make the world feel alive and engaging.

One minute, you’re changing a simple lightbulb for an elderly gentleman who swears he’s tried everything—but somehow, the problem still isn’t fixed. The next, you’re dealing with a full-blown electrical fire—and not just some minor sparks. One wrong move and suddenly, flames are shooting up the walls! Before you can even think about fixing the wiring, you’ll have to put out the fire and make sure nothing else is about to go up in smoke.

And then there are the more unconventional jobs. Sometimes, you’ll be called in to hook up a room filled with computers, because someone’s got a serious need for power—maybe a little too much power. It’s just another day of making sure outlets don’t explode and that your clients don’t accidentally knock out the entire neighborhood’s electricity.

Every mission in Electrician Simulator VR is designed to keep you entertained. Whether you’re rescuing clueless clients from their own bad decisions, tackling bizarre electrical disasters, or just laughing at the sheer absurdity of some requests, there’s always something to make you smile.

We believe that humor and personality make even the simplest jobs feel engaging. The world of Electrician Simulator VR isn’t just about flipping switches and fixing wires—it’s about unexpected twists, ridiculous problems, and the chaotic charm of being the one person who can (hopefully) fix it all.

Interaction & Optimization – The Core of VR Gameplay

In virtual reality, gameplay mechanics are only as strong as the world supporting them. While interacting with objects is a major focus, if the world feels empty, stiff, or unresponsive, the immersion breaks down. That’s why we put so much effort into ensuring that every tool, every action, and every reaction feels just right.

With VR, interactivity is king. Being able to physically unscrew light fixtures, replace fuses, or wire an entire house from scratch makes every moment feel real and rewarding. But responsiveness and optimization are just as crucial. A poorly optimized VR game can make interactions frustrating, while a well-crafted experience ensures that every action feels natural and intuitive.

From smooth object handling to realistic tool mechanics, we’ve been refining every interaction to ensure a seamless and immersive gameplay experience. Whether it’s using a voltage tester, pulling wires through conduits, or flipping a breaker switch, we want these actions to be as satisfying as they are functional.

Polishing the Experience

Of course, building a VR game is a constant process of testing and refinement. We’re always looking for ways to improve the world, mechanics, and humor to make sure that the final product is as polished as possible.

Every mission, from the most basic repairs to the most ridiculous electrical disasters, goes through rigorous testing. Our goal is to eliminate frustrating mechanics, improve performance, and ensure that every moment in the game feels rewarding.

We know that VR is all about immersion, and we want every player to feel like they’re stepping into a real, dynamic world—one that reacts, surprises, and entertains at every turn.

Stay Wired with Us!

We’re incredibly excited about the progress of Electrician Simulator VR, and we can’t wait for you to experience everything we’ve been working on. Whether it’s rewiring a house, fixing a ridiculous electrical mess, or just enjoying the hilarious requests from your clients, we hope you’ll love the world we’ve built.
