Steam Deck and Handheld Play Update

[p]Apes Warfare was designed from the ground up as a turn based strategy game that feels comfortable and natural on handheld devices.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]From the early days of development, we looked back at classic handheld strategy experiences on systems like the Nintendo DS and Nintendo Switch. Games that let you think, plan, and take your time while playing anywhere. Apes Warfare follows that same philosophy, focusing on clear turns, readable information, and deliberate decision making that works well in a handheld format.[/p][p]Apes Warfare is currently playable on Steam Deck, with full controller support available. The turn based structure makes it easy to play in short sessions or longer strategic matches, whether you are at your desk or playing on the go.[/p][p]That said, we are aware that some UI elements can feel small on a handheld screen. Improving readability, scaling, and overall comfort on Steam Deck and other handheld devices is an ongoing focus for us, and we will continue refining the experience based on player feedback.[/p][p]We believe turn based strategy shines on handheld systems, and Apes Warfare aims to deliver that familiar yet fresh experience of playing a deep tactical game in the palm of your hands.[/p][p]Thank you to everyone who has been playing Apes Warfare on Steam Deck and sharing feedback with us. More updates on handheld improvements will follow.[/p]
