🎨 Fresh New Style – Menus & In-Game Visuals

We gave Chessfinity a full aesthetic upgrade. Expect cleaner, sharper, and more vibrant visuals across the board:
• Revamped main menus with improved navigation
• Smoother UI transitions and animations
• A new in-game HUD that gives all the information a player needs

🔍 Detailed Move Patterns for Mana Chess

• Easier to plan your strategy
• More intuitive gameplay, especially for new players

🧩 Improved Deck Page & Deck Building

• New deck view makes it easier to understand your build at a glance
• Better sorting and selection tools to help you craft the perfect loadout

We have added six different pieces in Mana Chess:

1) Winged Pawn - a variant of pawn
2) Whip Pawn - a variant of pawn
3) Spriggan - a variant of Knight
4) Unicorn - a variant of Knight
5) Castelan - a force combining Knight and Rook
6) Cones Queen - a cousin of our beloved Queen - her power cannot be underestimated!



These are in a constant state of change - we are working very hard to improve their movement patterns so to give the game an extra edge. Watch this space - more improvements and more special wicked pieces are coming soon!



This update also include some minor fixes to smoothen the player experience, for example:
Notation switching fixed
Castling fixed
Ortho view highlight fixed.

Apologies, this problem (unable to load game) might have been around for a little over a day - it is now FIXED! It was pointed out by a kind member of our community. The game is now fully functional, with multiplayer, mana and some more cool features added in for the Steam Next Fest.

Navigating a multi-layered chess battlefield can be overwhelming, that's why our UI team focuses on legibility and visibility in the game. We have recently added features such as a movement log, dynamic piece tracking, toggleable 3D coordinates, and colour-coded move indicators—ensuring players always have a clear tactical view across all levels.

As always - we welcome your feedbacks if there is any visibility issues within the game!

Notation has been fixed to account for skipped moves whilst keeping the order number legible.

Logs now show active pieces and their move patterns in their position.
