• Fixed crashes when changing specific outfits in the Main Menu.
• Fixed lighting issues during Scarlett and Ravenna's dialogue in Original Nightmare Part 2: "The Other Side".
• Minor performance improvements in certain areas of the hospital.

• Until further notice, we recommend changing outfits only during gameplay.
• Additional polish and balance adjustments are coming in the next update.

Hey Survivors! 👋

We’ve just released a small but important hotfix for the DEMO based on the feedback you’ve been sending in. This version brings improvements to the Look Behind camera, hair rendering, and better handling of DLSS technologies.

Let’s break it down:

[h2]🛠️ Bug Fixes & Visual Improvements[/h2]

✅ Depth of Field fix – The Look Behind camera will now correctly focus on the character, no more awkward blur when post-processing is set to Epic.
✅ Significantly improved hair rendering inside the House during the opening sequence.
✅ DLSS improvements – Reduced visual artifacting and oversharpening when using DLSS. Should now provide a cleaner experience overall.

This is a hotfix over the 2.0.0 DEMO.
Make sure your version says 2.0.1 on the main menu screen.

Hello, Survivors! 👋

We’ve made important improvements across the board to enhance your overall experience, based on the feedback many of you generously provided. From combat polish to camera refinements and quality-of-life additions, this update brings us one step closer to the final version of the game.

Let’s take a look at what’s new:

[h2]🛠️ Bug Fixes, Optimizations & Quality of Life[/h2]

✅ Optimized all game textures and memory usage for improved performance.
✅ Fixed an issue where the language would reset every time the game was launched.
✅ Updated DLSS from 3.5 to DLSS 4.0.
✅ Added support for DLSS Frame Generation (RTX 40 series only) and NVIDIA Reflex.
✅ Reworked certain NPC appearances to better match the game’s visual tone.
✅ Added optional bloodstains on the player character while in Danger status.
✅ Added Linux support for the shader compiler.
✅ Adjusted and smoothed various cinematics; some cutscene durations were shortened for better pacing.

[h2]⚔️ Combat & Gameplay Adjustments[/h2]

🔹 Improved overall movement, camera, and dodge mechanics for a more fluid experience.
🔹 Weapon combat updated: now has a 30% chance to blow off an enemy's head.
🔹 Knife combat improved with smoother animations. (Still not final version.)
🔹 Lowered overall difficulty to offer a more accessible gameplay experience.
🔹 Customizable Controls are now available through the new Keybindings setting.
🔹 Increased the “hotness” of the shower scene for both Scarlett and Ravenna. 🔥
🔹 Relocated the laptop in Ravenna’s journey to improve pacing and exploration.
