MEET the "AH-64 Sioux"!

[p]Hello, Soldiers![/p][p]Today, it's our turn to introduce one of the Military's flagships: the "AH-64 Sioux"![/p][p]The Sioux is a two-seater attack helicopter, specialized for anti-tank combat and lightly armored to increase its crew's survival rate in the heaviest battles.[/p][p][/p][p]The pilot sits in the raised rear seat, while the gunner sits in the front.[/p][p]The pilot has fire-and-forget anti-tank missiles and small-caliber rockets to saturate an enemy area, excellent for lightly armored targets.[/p][p]The gunner controls the high-penetration 30mm autocannon, designed purely as an anti-tank weapon, and TV-guided anti-tank missiles.[/p][p]The powerful engine and light armor allow the aircraft to attack and retreat easily, despite its considerable weight.[/p][p]Obviously, the cost of recalling it to the battlefield will be commensurate with its firepower.[/p][p][/p][p]The positions of the Sioux and all other vehicles are completely interchangeable between players and bots.[/p][p]For example, for the aircraft presented here, the possible crew configurations are:[/p][p]- Pilot: Player / Gunner: Player[/p][p]- Pilot: Player / Gunner: Bot[/p][p]- Pilot: Bot / Gunner: Player[/p][p]- Pilot: Bot / Gunner: Bot[/p][p][/p][p]This war machine is capable of taking down any threat in a flash: armored vehicles, heavy insects, and rock-hard dinosaurs.[/p][p][/p][p]Although I've already modeled the other Military helicopters, let me know which other helicopters you'd like to see/fly in HOME WARS: BATTLEFIELD![/p][p][/p][p]Do you enjoy this sort of devblog where I gradually introduce you to the new title?[/p][p][/p]
THE ONLY GOOD BUG IS A DEAD BUG!
[p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p]

MEET the "Duke"!

[p]Hello, soldiers![/p][p]Today, I present to you the "Duke"![/p][p][/p][p]The Duke is a medium tank, quite unusual compared to its peers. It's tall, not heavily armored, but equipped with two independent guns and a crew of three.[/p][p][/p][p]Our friend's armament consists of:[/p][p]- a 40mm cannon and a coaxial 7.62mm machine gun for the driver.[/p][p]- a 75mm cannon designed to destroy other armored units, but with a limited firing range.[/p][p]- a 7.62mm machine gun located on top of the turret, essential for defending the perimeter from the bravest enemies.[/p][p][/p][p]Being a medium tank, don't expect to break through enemy lines with it; rather, the Duke is capable of covering the flanks of the heaviest main battle tanks, and it does so with the elegance that only a noble duke can possess![/p][p][/p][p]Can you identify which tank the model is inspired by?[/p][p][/p]
THE ONLY GOOD BUG IS A DEAD BUG!
[p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p]

MEET the "Tyrannosaurus rex"!

[p]Hello, soldiers![/p][p][/p][p]Today, I present to you the king![/p][p]The emperor of the Cretaceous![/p][p]Testosterone incarnate in a giant reptile![/p][p]The one who makes water shake in glasses and eats people in toilets![/p][p]Introducing the Tyrannosaurus rex!!![/p][p][/p][p]This gargantuan beast certainly needs no introduction![/p][p]Over 4 meters tall, weighing over 8 tons, and with the most powerful bite ever recorded in the history of land animals.[/p][p]Its eyesight is said to have been better than that of modern eagles, so yes, it would have seen you even if you were standing still! ...And who the hell started that rumor that the T. rex couldn't see stationary objects?! Imagine a giant dinosaur that's almost incapable of seeing trees and rocks because they're immobile.[/p][p][/p][p]In the game, I've gone a bit overboard with the height of our good reptile for scenic reasons, but I think you'll appreciate it.[/p][p]Like any other unit, you can either fight him or use him—the choice is yours.[/p][p]For now, his attack is a bite with very high penetrating power and a jump for area-of-effect damage.[/p][p]Would you add more?[/p][p]What do you think of this beast?[/p][p][/p]
THE ONLY GOOD DINO IS A DEAD DINO!
[p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p]

MEET the "Inflatable boat"

[p]Hello, soldiers![/p][p]Today, I present to you the "Inflatable boat"![/p][p][/p][p]You'll say, "But it's just a dinghy!" ... just a dinghy???[/p][p]Let's give a quick example of a situation where this "it's just a dinghy!" would solve the battle:[/p][p]Time is running out, the Bugs/Dinosaurs/Military are about to conquer the last point, which would seal your defeat.[/p][p]Where is this point? On an islet! An islet? Yes, an islet![/p][p]How do you and your team get to this islet?[/p][p]- With a plane? Too expensive.[/p][p]- With a battleship? Too expensive and too slow.[/p][p]- Do you parachute using the respawn dynamic? First, you have to die, and then there's the wait.[/p][p]- Do you jump into a cannon to be shot? Your health might suffer.[/p][p]- With a jet ski? Okay, it's fast, but you'd be alone.[/p][p]- Do you use "it's just a dinghy!"? Exactly! It's cheap, very fast, can carry up to five soldiers, and can even be used to draw fire from enemy ships... but in that case, it's best only to have one member on board.[/p][p][/p][p]Now that I've given this example, I can tell you the truth... It's just a dinghy.[/p][p]However, I hope I've made you understand that even a small rubber dinghy can change the course of a battle on occasion.[/p][p]Of course, if there are two scorpions and a giant wasp at the capture point, and there are only five of you, well, save yourselves the trouble of the journey![/p][p][/p][p]Later, I'll reveal the system for recalling vehicles to the battlefield, which I think you'll really like![/p][p][/p]
THE ONLY GOOD BUG ... IT'S JUST A DINGHY!
[p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p]

MEET the "Thor" + Artillery aiming system

[p]Hello, soldiers![/p][p]Today, I present to you the "Thor"![/p][p]Thor is a self-propelled artillery gun that fires 155 mm high-explosive shells.[/p][p]The evocative name is temporary, but if the community likes it, it could remain the service name.[/p][p]Although still in development, this powerful artillery piece has a five-round magazine that can fire in rapid succession, after which it must perform a moderate reloading.[/p][p]Intelligence is evaluating whether to equip this vehicle with other types of shells besides high-explosive ones. What do you think?[/p][p]Being an artillery vehicle, the Thor must remain in the rear, but thanks to its armor, it can withstand some enemy fire while waiting for reinforcements, as it has no defensive weapons to protect it.[/p][p][/p][p]What about the artillery targeting system in the game?[/p][p]As you can see in the photos, right-clicking will open a sort of minimap that will allow you to see a bird's-eye view of the area of the map you can target.[/p][p]For those curious, I was inspired by the artillery truck from BF4, which I thought was pretty cool... at least until they figured out where you were.[/p][p]Obviously, there's some dispersion to take into account due to the inaccuracy of the shots, which will vary depending on the vehicle and the distance to the target.[/p][p]If you have any thoughts on this system, now is the best time to talk about it.[/p][p]I really want to tell you that since I really love everything artillery-related, I'll take special care in its implementation, so that its use is as satisfying as possible for the player![/p][p][/p]
THE ONLY GOOD BUG IS A DEAD BUG!
[p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p]
