Three Kingdoms: Mushouden – A Letter to Our Players
Dear Warriors,
Hello to all our fellow warriors, and thank you for being here.
It’s been three days since the release of Three Kingdoms: Mushouden, and first of all, we’d like to express our heartfelt gratitude for your attention and support. Over the past few days, we’ve received a large volume of feedback from players — including excitement and praise, but also criticism and many valuable suggestions.
We are deeply grateful for all of your voices. At the same time, we have become acutely aware of our shortcomings — especially in the finer details of game design, where we failed to fully consider things from the player's point of view. This has led to unsatisfactory experiences for some of you, and we sincerely apologize for that.
We offer our heartfelt apologies to all players.
As a newly formed indie team, we chose a theme and genre that we love, and we poured our passion and creativity into the development of Three Kingdoms: Mushouden. However, due to our limited team size, lack of experience, and insufficient understanding of the market, we made some poor decisions along the way and failed to polish the game to the level we had hoped for.
We’ve since taken a hard look at the issues with the project and are actively working to address them. Your honest and direct feedback has been a great motivator — thank you.
Since the Steam Next Fest, many players have placed high expectations on us. In our rush to push development forward, we ended up "building behind closed doors," working long hours but overlooking the importance of listening to our players. For this, we are truly sorry.
Going forward, we promise to pay close attention to player feedback, fix known issues, add new features and characters, and make adjustments to existing content — including usability, difficulty, and balance — while continuing to push regular updates.
Three Kingdoms: Mushouden represents the very beginning of our journey into indie game development.
So please rest assured: South North Studio will not disappear, and we will never betray the trust of our players.

In the coming week:
※ Fictional generals will first appear in story mode and will later be available as main characters in sandbox mode.
Within the first month:
Once again, we sincerely thank everyone who has supported us so far.
We will continue to devote ourselves fully to improving and expanding the game — and we hope you’ll keep holding us accountable along the way.
With gratitude,
South North Studio
