Halloween in the waterpark - Update 0.2.86

[p]The sun has set on the waterpark, and the monsters have moved in! For the next 10 spooky days, the park is overrun by vampires, zombies, skeletons, and demons, all ready to cool off at your park. Watch out for the ones wearing witch hats, not just because they look very trendy, but because they will be dropping candy everywhere![/p][p][/p][p]Collecting candy fills up your Halloween Event Bar, unlocking special haunted decorations and items to add a spooky touch to your park. You can earn these items only during the event, but once you unlock them, they’re yours to keep forever.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]The entire game has transformed for the season: it’s nighttime across the city, eerie things flicker through the air, Halloween decorations are all over the park and in the city, and even the main menu had a spooky makeover. [/p][p]There are even two brand-new Halloween tracks from Chaotrope echoing through the park to set the perfect mood for your moonlit mayhem.[/p][p][/p][p]Oh, and the Caymart old man? He still looks exactly the same. Still staring. Still... fine. Probably[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]Is the spooky season not your thing? No worries. You can always head to Settings → Seasonal Events to switch back to the regular version of the game — no tricks, just your regular sunny chaotic paradise.[/p][p][/p][p]So grab your candy bucket, brace yourself, and dive into the chaos of the Halloween Waterpark Simulator Event. It’s to die for! [/p][p][/p][p]

UPDATE 0.2.74 - Patch Notes

[p]A couple of small fixes and improvements on this update. But the major goal was to improve the game performance and to remove crashes that some of you reported. Let us know how one behaves for you.

We are actively working on new things. In fact, at the moment we have internally 3 dev branches that are being developed and tested. They are in the order you will be seeing them in the public version[/p][p][/p]
  • [p]A special event approaches. For now, it's a secret, but we will reveal more next week. But we can tell you the team has been having a blast testing this one ;)[/p]
  • [p]The Wellness update - 0.3[/p]
  • [p]The Multiplayer update - 0.4 (yes, did you know we will have multiplayer? )

UPDATE 0.2.71- Patch Notes

[p]Some fixes before the weekend.
But before the list, some important info

- We are temporarily disabling restocks left on the floor, saving between gaming sessions (save and load). We are aware that this is something many of you want to keep, but we have been noticing some issues related to this, so we will need to remove it for now, while we create alternatives to do it. But don't worry, any boxes left on the floor (by you or your staff) are refunded.

- Some of you reported that your mouse clicks are either not working at all or not working as intended (like in uses of tools that require long pressing) since 0.2.70. From the players we spoke this seems to be happening in cases where people are playing on platforms we officially don't support yet (Mac via Crossover or Linux via Proton, for example).
We believe this is related to the latest Unity update we had to do to patch the security issue that Unity warned all dev teams about this week. Although we don't support those platforms, we will carry on researching if there is a solution we can provide before those same alternative systems (Crossover, Proton, etc) update. We want to make sure that if you got the game, you get to enjoy it.

[/p]
BUG FIXES
[p][/p]
  • [p]Fix to the watergun reactions[/p]
  • [p]Visitors now should be able to use all of the slides' stairs (It was affecting mainly 3-star slides)[/p]
  • [p]Updates to any counts on the task list are now improved[/p]
  • [p]Janitors should no longer disappear into unopened areas of your park[/p]
[p][/p]
IMPROVEMENTS
• [p] Using the mouse wheel in the research tree is now faster[/p]

UPDATE 0.2.70 - Patch Notes

[p]0.2.70 is here (yes, we know we wanted a different number too, but something else needed to be fixed)

Massive thanks to the group Language Pack Italia, who we will credit properly in-game in the next update for the Italian translation.[/p][p]
This version also has an updated version of the Unity engine since a critical security issue was detected by the Unity team on the last version, and we want to make sure you are always safe while playing our game.

There are quite a lot of fixes based on the reports that many of you provided, so let's dig into it
[/p]
BUG FIXES
• [p]Credits are now scrollable all the way[/p]
  • [p]If you had any boxes left around that could not be used (also known as the boxes from restockers being hit by cars), they will disappear and you will get their value back[/p]
  • [p]Fixed some values not being shown properly in the daily report about income/expenses[/p]
  • [p]Corrections for some painting issues with some pools[/p]
  • [p]Fixed some painting issues with the stairs of the large slides.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed an issue where, if the player quit the game during the tutorial at a specific point, the task progress would not save[/p]
  • [p]Solved a case where visitors would get stuck in the swimming animation if the pool was destroyed/ moved[/p]
  • [p]Fixed some of the camera jerking when ragdolling[/p]
  • [p]Corrected the VFX of poops in the pool[/p]
  • [p]Fixed a situation where 2 cleaners would try to clean the same spot and get stuck.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed a task that required using the taser on bad visitors, which was counting all visitors[/p]
[p][/p][p][/p]
IMPROVEMENTS
• [p]Lifeguards now have an animation when pushing people stuck on the diving boards[/p]
  • [p]When rescuing drowning visitors, they now act like the player and use the liferings (sorry, no more dragging visitors around). This should also make them more efficient[/p]
  • [p]Lifeguards can now also revive visitors[/p]
  • [p]Improved some collisions in the small spiral slide[/p]
  • [p]The death slide level has been set to 4 stars to avoid confusion[/p]
  • [p]Smelly guests will always be happy when squirted with the water gun[/p]
  • [p]Game now also auto-saves when sleeping in the tent (so now auto-saves happen at park closing and at sleeping)[/p]
  • [p]Some improvements on sliding animations, sounds, and momentum physics.[/p]
  • [p]Fixes on the arm sizes of the player avatar that affected some combos of height and genders.[/p]
NEW FEATURES
• [p]Added an initial version of Italian (we will add it to the credits in-game in the next update, but we already want to say thanks to the group Language Pack Italia for their awesome job there)[/p]
  • [p]Dropping purchased items into the dumpster now, refunds you for their cost.
    [/p]

UPDATE 0.2.55 - Patch Notes

[p]Ok, no more tripping. We are testing some new stuff in terms of restockers using boxes on the floor, so if you have any of those pesky boxes lying around, just plop them in a corner, and we will make sure that by next week they end up where they were meant to.

[/p]
BUG FIXES
• [p]Bird poops can now be cleaned (we promise this time we did it all ;p )[/p]
  • [p]No more tripping in those boxes for anyone (next week we will introduce an update where restockers prioritise boxes and the floor, and you can sell any extra goods you purchased),[/p]
[p][/p]
IMPROVEMENTS
• [p] Fountains' sound levels have been adjusted so as not to be so loud[/p]
