Beta Branch for people with crashes

[p]if you have crashes you can now use the beta branch called something like "betabranchnocrashes". it shold have no crashes. the downside is that it's an odler version of the game with less checkpoints and stuff like that. still fully playabale tho. checkpoints are for wusses anyway.[/p]

CRASHING FIXED I THINK FOR REAL THIS TIME!!!!!!

[p]yay!!! we finally fixed the crashing!!! maybe!!!![/p][p]This stupid damn issue has been driving me insane for so long. Everyone had been complaining to me about it but I could never replicate it because it ONLY HAPPENS ON SOME COMPUTERS so finding the issue is damn near impossible because IT. ONLY. HAPPENS. ON SOME COMPUTERS!!!! Oh, and it's untraceable. Matter of fact, for a while I thought this must be a massiove troll attempt because for a long time I couldn't find anyone willing to help me repliate it or anything. Just people claiming it happens but not helping me at all because it takes like 15 minutes of thier time to replicate and they undertsandbly don't want to do that. And you know what's worse? It's UNTRACABLE. There's seemingly no rhyme or reason for it. It doesn't happen at a specific time. It doesn';t happen at a specific place. It doesnt happen during specific actions. It doesn't happen on specific hardwares. It just. Happens. So while we've been triying to find a fix it's just been lowering my review ratings slowly while i sit here HELPLESS and WATCH. Every time I thought we had a lead it turned out to be a dead. end. I had to launch and redact like 2 updates thinking I finally found the fix. But no. We checked EVERYHTING. Archer looked at Every. Single. For() loop. In the entire game, thinking one of them must be broken, right?? You know, since it's just a random freeze with no crash logs or log notes, right?? It's gotta be a for() or while() loop error? Or perhaps it's a memory leak or something, right? But no. No. No. No. NO!!!!!!!! After all this time I think we found the solution and you know what it is? A damn DRIVER ISSUE. Graphicss. F*cking. Drivers. GRAPHCIS DRIVERSS!?????!?!!! NVIDIA!???: DAMN YOU!!!!!!!! DAMN YOU NVIDIA!!!!!!!! YOUR TELLING ME THIS WHOLE TIME IT WASN"T EVEN OUR FAULT????? I'VE BEEN RUNNING AROUDN THINKING I WAS A BAD DEVELOPER AND IT WAS REALLY NVIDIA??!!??!AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]Anyways, I tried to simplify the reflection probes to accommodate for the earlier mentioned graphics driver issues, and we haven't been able to replicate the issue since on not 1 but 2 computers. I think it's safe to say the crashing is probably fixed now! Hopefully. If a single one of you updates their game to 1.2.4 and tells it's STILL crashing, I'm just gonna have to kill myself.

Bye I'm the manliestdev here's my discord and here's my website.[/p]

Patch 1.2.2

Fixed another issue with crashing on some PCs. This one was rarer than the last, so it was much harder to find.

Patch 1.2.1 - It's like Patch 1.2.0 but without the crashing

Previously, we uploaded an update which:

  • Added waaay more checkpoints. Like, 3 times more checkpoints.
  • Added Background music
  • Toggle button for said background music
  • Title cards on each area
  • Cool skellingtons and spires and stuff in the background
  • Clouds
  • Fixed Spanish (It was actually so insanely messed up I don't know how this went unnoticed for so long)
  • and also added Brazilian Portuguese

But there was an issue where it would freeze or even crash on some PCs when changing music for the first time! Why? Because apparently some PC's don't like to load large audio files in real-time. So we made said audio files load in background instead. The issue is fixed now! Yay!!!!!

Temporarily reverting back to last version

Getting reports that the new update 1.2.0 causes freezing and even crashes on some PCs - In the meantime, I'm temporarily reverting back to the previous version until a fix is found. Thank you all for letting me know of this issue and thank you for your patience. I hope to resolve this issue soon.
