Songs of Rats - Getting ready for March 10 launch!

[h3]As Steam Next Fest wraps up, we just want to say a huge thank you for your support, valuable feedback, and for checking out the playable demo. As youâve seen, weâre fully dedicated to this project, and weâve been reading all your feedback carefully. Weâre working hard to implement the changes, balance tweaks, and suggestions that we believe will improve the experience. Our goal is to make Songs of Rats the best it can be at launch!đ[/h3]
With the gameâs premiere coming up next Monday, so just one week away, we wanted to give you a summary of what to expect from the final version. Here's a rundown of the most important features and content you'll find in Songs of Rats at launch:
Both campaigns come with a few unique events.

Choose how long you want to wander in The Wreckage. 25, 50 or maybe 100 days?
One save slot for each gameplay mode (Campaign and Sandbox). The game will save data automatically every day at camp.
* - For Steam Deck make sure to turn on the Steam Linux Runtime 1.0 on your device.
[h3]đŁAdditionally, we'll be offering a generous 40% discount at launch![/h3]
Since it's an indie project, we didn't want to price it high, so we thought it might be a better idea to offer optional DLCs. That way, if someone loves the game, they can buy additional events, scenarios, and more. But then we felt that it wouldnât be fair to take content from the main game or charge extra for the second campaign. Thatâs why the "Searching For Balance" scenario and all the events we've prepared will be available from day one in the full version! Instead, if you want to support us, you can buy optional DLCs that wonât affect your gameplay experience in any way!đȘ
Hereâs what the optional DLCs will include:

The first DLC, Tales from the Shadows, will feature a short novel (20k+ words) and 3 short stories, all with a Sci-Fi theme. The short novel will focus entirely on The Wreckage.
[h3]Artbook in PDF format[/h3]
As youâd expect, an artbook! Weâll be sharing more details about the world of The Wreckage and the process of making the game.
Weâre aiming to have the DLCs ready for launch, but you know how it is... Right now, weâre just waiting for Steamâs approval - so fingers crossed! :)
