[p]Hello Kittens,[/p][p]On this day that celebrates love, I wanted to reach out to you; and since I am here watching Drag Race with Mr. Powers, I thought I would write you a quick letter.[/p][p]First, I want to say thank you to all the kittens who have purchased the game, written reviews or kind comments and to all the content creators who have spent time playing the game on their live streams and "Let’s Play" videos. Your support of our little indie game studio is much appreciated.[/p][p]Secondly, I want to say how touched I am hearing and reading all the stories you’ve shared about how the first game made such an impression on some of you. On the surface, it does seem like a silly and frivolous novelty—and that’s intentional—but at its heart, the game is also intended to be a safe space for everyone to escape to, either just for a giggle or for a break from the ‘real’ world, and to hopefully start healthy conversations or enlighten minds.[/p][p]This is why we felt it was more appropriate than ever to bring back Matchmaker. It is still one of the only games to represent all flavours of relationships in a form that focuses on connection and the awkwardness of early relationships, and isn’t just for over 18s. We are proud of having made a game suitable for a younger audience who might need that perspective to make sense of their own feelings and know that they aren’t alone, and that being different doesn’t mean that society wants to erase you.[/p][p]All that, and it also has fun strategic gameplay, makes great content, and has stupid fart jokes. Anyway, I hope that whether you are with your special someone today or on your own, you are content. And if you want something fun to do that’s love-themed, you can play my game!
