[p]An action-horror game like Everdark demands a sound experience as intense as its gameplay—and the audio design rises to the challenge. The majority of the game’s haunting and immersive soundtrack has been composed and produced by renowned electronic artist Ratioactive, whose work brings depth and atmosphere to the game’s darkest moments.[/p][p]But that’s not all.[/p][p]As passionate fans of industrial metal, the Everdark team wanted to inject an extra dose of raw energy into the experience. That’s why they collaborated with Madrid-based metal band Bloody Kitchen, who contributed a powerful, hard-hitting track for one of the game’s key stages. In addition, Carlos Foak, frontman of the band, composed the music for Everdark’s main menu.[/p][p]Formed in 2020 by Foak—former keyboardist of the band Ratio—Bloody Kitchen blends the aggressive energy of Neue Deutsche Härte with modern metal influences, drawing inspiration from legendary acts like Rammstein, Eisbrecher, and Megaherz. What sets them apart: all their songs are written and performed in Spanish.[/p][p]With two acclaimed albums under their belt—Degeneración (2021) and Caos (2024)—the band has earned praise from critics and fans alike, with live performances that have made waves both nationally and internationally.[/p][p]And this is just the beginning. Upcoming chapters of Everdark will continue to feature original music by Bloody Kitchen and Carlos Foak, further expanding the game’s powerful sonic identity.[/p][p][/p]
