That's it, as promised, this week we put on our gloves, rolled up our sleeves, and got down to business developing the multiplayer mode on Exot 😁

After laying the groundwork, we're now diving in : we're laying the technical foundations and imagining the mechanics to ensure the multiplayer experience brings a new dimension to our favorite galaxy.
This is the beginning of an exciting new step, and we can't wait to see how this new facet of the game takes shape !

To stay true to our way of working, we'd like to include you in the development of this new game mode.
We therefore invite you to share your ideas and expectations on this topic. A new channel has been created on our Discord specifically for this purpose : #suggestions-multi

Exot has now reached a stable version, ready for Early Access launch.
It's now time for us to start developing the version of the game that will follow Early Access 😁

Given the various feedback we've received on the game since its Playtest, stream, and video releases, one major feature seems to be (by far) the most anticipated: access to Exot in multiplayer !
It therefore seems obvious to us that the next major step in development will be to give players the opportunity to join forces in the same galaxy to face the dangers of Exot together.
This will most likely take some time, but we want to inform you that we're working on it starting today 🙂

The next updates will accordingly focus on fixing bugs and adding minor features.

At the same time, with Exot's Early Access release approaching, we've decided to shut down access to the Playtest on the evening of May 29, 2025.
A time-limited demo, which doesn't reveal all of the game's features, will take its place the following day (May 30, 2025).
We'll remind you one week before the shutdown and inform you at that time about how to save your games if you wish to reuse them when purchasing the game upon release.
