📢 Dev Diary #3 – Employees Are Joining the Shop!
[p]Hey everyone![/p][p]Time for another development update — and this one is a big step toward bringing more life (and chaos) into your tabletop shop![/p][p]We’ve been working on the employee system, and we’re excited to share the first fully functional behaviors that are now prototyped and being polished.[/p][p]Let’s dive in![/p][p][/p]
👷‍♂️ 🆕 Employees Are Now Working in the Shop
[p]Your store is no longer a one-person operation!
Employees can now:[/p]
✔ Stand at the register and handle checkout
[p]They’ll take care of customers so you can focus on managing the store.[/p]
✔ Clean dirty floors and tables
[p]Spilled drinks, crumbs, sweat marks, chaos — they’ll take care of it before customers complain.[/p]
✔ Spray deodorant on smelly customers
[p]Because some visitors… really need it.
Employees will automatically deodorize overly stinky customers to keep the shop atmosphere fresh.[/p]
✔ Organize boxes in the storage room
[p]Deliveries piling up? Employees can neatly arrange them in the backroom.[/p]
✔ Take items from storage and place them on shelves
[p]Workers can restock your products, freeing up your time for strategy and layout work.[/p][p]These behaviors are already running in development builds and will be refined with better animations, smarter decision-making, and more personality soon.[/p][p][/p]
Board Game Creation Mini-Game – Nearly Ready!
[p]We’ve designed a brand-new mini-game built around unique mechanics that let you craft your very own board games from scratch.[/p][p]You’ll gather components, assemble pieces, and bring your custom creation to life right inside your shop.[/p][p]And yes — those games can be sold or used to draw more players to your tables.

📘 Tutorial System in Progress[/p][p]We’re building a step-by-step tutorial, showing:[/p]
 • [p]How to craft your first board game[/p]
 • [p]How to test it[/p]
 • [p]How the quality system works[/p]
 • [p]How board games affect customer behavior and store popularity[/p]
[p]The goal is to help new players understand these deeper mechanics without feeling overwhelmed.[/p][p][/p]

🧪 What’s Next?
[p]Once employees, crafting, and the tutorial systems pass internal stability tests, we will officially prepare the public Playtest announcement.
We’re getting closer every week![/p][p]Thank you for following the development and for all your support.
See you in the next update — or maybe… in the Playtest soon. 😉[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p]
