My dear apprentices,

Demo version 0.5 releases with a new tutorial (we heard you, too much text!), a guide and library for players to find specific things they're confused on, and tons of new visual effects! Arcanum (money) has also been rebalanced, you will now have to save one or two apprentices to build a successful Conservatory.

Unless you succumb to war profiteering.

The Fool's Apprentice now has a public demo! Start your magical studies today! Though there is much hidden away for the full game, TFA is fully featured, allowing you to collect, train, and cast spells on your hopelessly unskilled apprentices. Please share it around to any who'd enjoy the game, and have fun!

We're on track for a release early this spring, so you won't have to wait long to build out the magic academy of your dreams!

We are running a closed playtest for The Fool's Apprentice here on Steam!

Here is what you need to know:

• The playlist will run for 2-3 days this coming week.
  
• You can 'Request access' and you’ll get notified if and when you are selected. There may be a second wave of playtest immediately before the demo launch, and additional rounds will come for the full game.
  
• Please do not record or stream gameplay footage of the game at this time (feel free to once the demo is out)
  
• The public demo is planned to release a week after playtests are run so if you are not invited to this weekend, worry not! You will soon have a Conservatory of your own.
