Launch Hotfix 3

[p]We have the first big update coming later this week with Extra Expeditions (will be on open beta channel soon) but in the mean time, here are a few fixes to address feedback from players.[/p][p][/p][h2]Bug Fixes[/h2]
  • [p]Leader Selection Warning: The leader selection warning on expeditions has been removed.[/p]
  • [p]Micromanagement Achievement: Conditions for unlocking the Micromanagement achievement have been fixed.[/p]
[h2]Quality of Life[/h2]
  • [p]Leader Selection & Survivor Recommendations: Starting leader selection and survivor recommendation popup conditions have been adjusted to only fire when suitable[/p]
  • [p]Impatience Authority Floor: Impatience can no longer reduce your Authority below 5 on Casual, 4 on Normal, and 1 on Brutal difficulties. (previously was 1 on Casual and Normal). Interested to see how players find this - quite a big change but should smooth the difficulty curve between normal and brutal a bit)[/p]

[p][/p][p]Things are off to a great start and we are hard at work on the next update for the game! Thanks for all your reviews, comments, feedback and bug reports, they're all enormously helpful, so please. Keep them coming![/p][p][/p][p]We have released 2 hotfixes since launch which add some highly requested player features and address various issues that have been reported. (details in the normal change logs)[/p][p][/p][p]Our aim is to release an update every 2 weeks or so initially, although bigger features like the Scenario Creator will take longer. Next week we will release our first big Early Access update which will add Extra Expeditions.[/p][p]For fans of the usual Daily Expeditions - you will be able to do more expeditions to accelerate the development of your civilization.  [/p][h3]Looking Ahead[/h3][p]Check out our roadmap below for other things we have planned. [p]This update adds in a feature requested by quite a few players as well as some fixes / changes to ensure people don't play at a higher difficulty than they expect.[/p][p][/p][h3]New Features[/h3]
  • [p]Factory Reset Button: A new "Factory Reset" button has been added to the settings screen. You can use this to wipe your progress if you want. BE CAREFUL![/p]
[h3]Quality of Life[/h3]
  • [p]Leader Selection Adjustments: More challenging leaders have been moved out of the initial selection pools in early levels (that haven't been beaten).[/p]
  • [p]Localisation Review Popup: A localisation review popup will now be displayed.[/p]
  • [p]New Leader Warning Popup: A warning popup now appears when selecting a more challenging leader in the initial levels.[/p]
  • [p]Various translation improvements - thanks to the community for all the feedback. Your suggestions on crowdin are being added every update![/p]
[h3]Bug Fixes[/h3]
  • [p]New Garden Event Soft Lock: Fixed an issue where players could get soft-locked by not having enough resources in the "New Garden" event.[/p]

  • [p]Housing Warning Popup: Players on higher difficulty are growing their settlements too fast which causes them to lose control. The housing warning popup now includes more info and stays visible at Brutal difficulty until level 5 to help warn against this..[/p]
  • [p]Early Access to Campaigns & Expeditions: You can now access the second campaign and daily expeditions before finishing the Survival Campaign, offering more ways to play sooner![/p]
  • [p]Improved level display UI: We have seen some confusion about how many levels there are in the game. We now clearly show there are 18 levels in various places.[/p]
  • [p]Mac: The game is still not officially available for Mac, but people who are playing unofficially will now be able to access latest version. [/p]

  • [p]Steam Leaderboards Fix: Remaining Leaderboards should now correctly appear on Steam.[/p]
  • [p]Resource Sidebar Update: The resource sidebar items will now update correctly when you buy technologies in the settlement screen.[/p]
  • [p]Random Level and Region Placement: We've adjusted the positions of random levels and regions around the Survival Campaign and on the world map to prevent them from clashing with campaign pins.[/p]
  • [p]Campaign Title Styling: Campaign titles on the world map now have updated styling.[/p]
  • [p]Quitting Game Crash Fix: An issue causing a crash when quitting the game has been resolved.[/p]
  • [p]Decision Bubbles Fix: Decision bubbles should no longer visually pause.[/p]
  • [p]Soldier Reinforcement Crash Fix: A crash that occurred when reinforcing already dead soldiers has been fixed.[/p]

  • [p]Widget Shadow Mask Sorting: The sorting method for widget shadow masks has been updated.[/p]
  • [p]Desktop Icon Resolution: The desktop icon's resolution has been improved for a sharper look.[/p]
