Preparing for launch - update 2

[p]The game is nearly ready to release and we are hard at work addressing feedback from the tens of thousands of people currently playing the demo! This update applies to the main game (18844352) and demo (18844244)[/p]
  • [p]Welcome Message for Full Version: Demo players will now see a greeting when moving to the full game.[/p]
  • [p]Save File Compatibility: You can no longer open full version saves in the demo, which prevents crashes.[/p]
  • [p]Resource Display: The numbers for resources on the left side of the screen (when "show all" is active) are now more opaque for better visibility.[/p]
  • [p]Text Style Adjustments: We've adjusted the styles and materials for red, green, and orange feature text to improve their appearance.[/p]
  • [p]Smoother Menu Transitions: The main menu now has a sliding transition with the cross-fade effect removed, making it less jarring.[/p]
  • [p]Advanced Soldier Display Fix: The advanced soldier asset now displays correctly, even when below max health.[/p]
  • [p]Cheat Select Screen Fix: Alpha transitions should no longer break the cheat select screen.[/p]
  • [p]Clickable Map Center: The center bottom of the map is now clickable again.[/p]
  • [p]Steam Rich Presence: Steam Rich Presence is now available in all languages.[/p]
  • [p]Windmill Visibility: Windmill fans now draw over background trees, ensuring they're always visible.[/p]
  • [p]Various Crashes Fixed: Several issues causing crashes have been resolved.[/p]
  • [p]Authority Screen Color Fix: A bug causing victory colors not to load on the authority screen has been resolved.[/p]
  • [p]Windmill Animation Pause: Windmill fans now pause correctly with game controls.[/p]
  • [p]Random Level Recalibration: Random level positions have been recalibrated.[/p]
  • [p]Achievement Language Corrected: Corrections have been made to achievement language.[/p]
  • [p]Wishlist prompt: Pop up fixed.[/p]
  • [p]Various Translation Improvements: You'll find a range of improvements across various translations.[/p]

  • [p]New Resource Display: We've added a button to show all resources, and the left side of the screen now displays the quantity of each resource.[/p]
  • [p]Improved Progress Bars: The height of the population and stamina progress bars has been increased for better visibility.[/p]
  • [p]Left Shift Key Fix: The left shift key should now correctly cycle through resources.[/p]
  • [p]Early Wood Bar Tutorial Fix: An issue with the early wood bar revealing too soon in the tutorial has been fixed.[/p]
  • [p]Steam Rich Presence: We've added Steam Rich Presence text.[/p]
  • [p]Audio Rebalance & Enhanced Sounds: Default music and SFX audio have been rebalanced, and button click sounds are now enhanced.[/p]
  • [p]Stamina UI Update: The stamina UI will now update when you pop housing bubbles.[/p]

  • [p]CJK and Thai Character Styling: Styling for CJK (Chinese, Japanese, Korean) and Thai characters has been improved.[/p]
  • [p]News Carousel Images: Images for Plague Inc and Rebel Inc on the news carousel now use the correct icons.[/p]
  • [p]Settlement Naming Keybind: The back button keybind is now disabled when you're typing in the settlement name field.[/p]
  • [p]Keybind Screen Highlight Fix: Alternate key buttons on the keybind screen now highlight correctly when clicked.[/p]
  • [p]Shadow Layering Fix: We've implemented a fix to ensure shadow layering works properly.[/p]
  • [p]Quarry Shadows: Quarry shadow shapes have been set.[/p]
  • [p]Ruined Coal Mine Images: Ruined coal mine images have been lightened.[/p]
  • [p]Save File Size Reduction: The save file size has been reduced.[/p]
  • [p]Crater Images: Crater images have been unsharpened.[/p]
  • [p]Ruined Settlement Size Fix: The size of ruined settlements has been fixed.[/p]
  • [p]Map Modifier Icons: Issues with map modifiers showing the wrong icon in the main menu have been resolved.[/p]
  • [p]Map Modifier Colors: Selected state colors for map modifiers have been fixed.[/p]
  • [p]Herb Farm Shadows: Herb farm shadow shapes have been improved.[/p]
  • [p]Windmill Animation: Windmill animation should now be less jerky.[/p]
  • [p]Settlement Button Layout Fix: The layout of the settlement button will no longer break if the text for patience runs too long.[/p]
  • [p]Decision Outcome Selection Fix: Another fix has been implemented for selecting multiple decision outcomes.[/p]
  • [p]Resource Side Bar: The resource side bar now shows total/deficit resources, and hides the value when the bar is hidden.[/p]
  • [p]Serialized Sheet Buildings: Sheet buildings are now serialized.[/p]
  • [p]New Reward Popup: The "New reward" popup now correctly displays when completing a region.[/p]
  • [p]Settlement Name Field Escape Key: The settlement name field will no longer revert its text if you press the Escape key.[/p]
  • [p]Zone Info Bar Fix: The zone info bar no longer shows a black empty box on claimed cities.[/p]
  • [p]Expedition Preview Overlay: The black overlay on the preview expedition level will no longer disappear when selected.[/p]
  • [p]Bubble Animation Freezes: Potential fixes for in-game bubble animations freezing have been implemented.[/p]
  • [p]Legible Red Feature Text: Material for red feature text (seen when resources are low and on soldier combat) has been updated to be more legible.[/p]
  • [p]Legible UI Strap Elements: The strap elements holding info at the bottom of the UI have been updated to make content more legible.[/p]
  • [p]Watchtower Flag: Watchtower flag appearance and behavior have been updated for clarity.[/p]
  • [p]Sub-Settlement Pivots: Pivots for sub-settlements have been moved to prevent them from appearing in water.[/p]
  • [p]Leader Bubbles: Leader bubbles (Scout ability) now use a higher fidelity asset.[/p]
  • [p]End-Game Reward Popup: The reward popup now shows again at end-game.[/p]
  • [p]Expedition Asset Loading: An issue where lower quality assets would load on expeditions has been fixed.[/p]
