Version 2.0 Available Now!

[p]It’s here—Version 2.0 is live and downloadable now![/p][p][/p][p]As previously announced, I’ve been hard at work updating the core gameplay for Lustborn and adding a boatload of new content.[/p][p][/p][p]This is a passion project for me, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to create something unique and fun. I truly hope Lustborn can steadily evolve into something unlike anything else out there.[/p][p][/p][h3]WHAT’S NEW[/h3][p][/p][p]With that in mind, here is what to expect from v2.0:[/p]
  • [p]New “Challenges” mode: Featuring two new maps set in a virtual training facility. Check out the screenshots below![/p]
  • [p]New unlockable outfits: Earnable for players who beat the 3-star time in Challenges (requires the free "Latex & Lace Outfit Pack" DLC).[/p]
  • [p]New achievements: Earn a new achievement for each 3-star result in Challenges Mode[/p]
  • [p]New melee attack: Mia gains a knife attack, perfect for tight spaces and overly clingy enemies.[/p]
  • [p]New enemy type: The "Slick," a flying enemy with a unique "grabbing" ability and attacks.[/p]
  • [p]Improved pacing: Several new checkpoints (auto-save) added throughout the game.[/p]
  • [p]Gameplay tuning & balance:[/p]
    • [p]re-balanced loot drops[/p]
    • [p]re-balanced loot boxes[/p]
    • [p]improved placement for Nanoskin Suit (requires "Mature Content Starter Pack" DLC)[/p]
    • [p]increased med kit value[/p]
  • [p]Bug fixes: Several minor fixes and general tweaks.[/p]

Version 2.0 Featuring New Challenges Mode Incoming

[p]Season’s greetings, everyone![/p][p]I’ve been hard at work on a HUGE update for Lustborn, and I’m excited to share the news just ahead of the holidays. A few months ago, I mapped out future updates in the form of free content and DLC. While the schedule has shifted a bit, I’m happy to say that most of what was planned is now coming together in the upcoming v2.0 release.[/p][p]The best part? You won’t have to wait long—I’m currently testing a final build, with release planned in under two weeks![/p][p][/p][h3]SNEAK PEEK[/h3][p][/p][p]From the very start of this project, my goal has been to create a fun, distinctive experience that continues to grow over time. As a solo developer, it’s always a challenge to know exactly what works, but through experimentation, persistence, and your feedback, I hope Lustborn can steadily evolve into something unlike anything else out there.[/p][p][/p][p]With that in mind, here are a few highlights coming in v2.0:[/p]

Update v1.2.0

[h3]WHAT'S IN THIS UPDATE[/h3][p][/p][p]In this BIG new update, I've focused on improving gameplay variety and fun factor! Version 1.2.0 is available for download now and builds upon the previous cumulative updates.[/p][p][/p][p]At the top of my to-do list was to make enemy AI more varied and interesting. With that in mind, multiple new attacks, behaviours, and animations have been added:[/p][p][/p]
  • [p]The Brute (large guy) now has a ranged attack where he stomps the ground to create a devastating ground-based projectile (pro tip: jump or roll out of the way!)[/p]
  • [p]The Vixen (female enemy) also has a new ranged attack where she blows a deadly kiss towards you--I'll let you experience that for yourselves ;-)[/p]
  • [p]The Goon (smaller guy) has been made smarter and angrier; if you run him around he'll likely go into a rage![/p]
  • [p]Almost all arena battles have been updated to take advantage of all these additions and tweaks.[/p]
  • [p]Other minor tweaks and improvements.[/p]

Lustborn Roadmap Q3-Q4 2025

[p]If you checked out the latest updates in v1.2.0, you'll know that changes and updates to Lustborn are coming fast and furious.[/p][p][/p][p]In this post, I want to outline some of the future updates that will come in the form of regular updates and optional DLCs. The major highlight coming in Q4 is the new "Challenges" game mode, but don't sleep on the upcoming outfit pack or the enemy/weapon additions![/p][p][/p][p]If you have any thoughts about this or the latest update, please feel free to comment. Update v1.1.1

[p]Update v1.1.1 of Lustborn is live. I've been noting player feedback loud and clear since launch a few weeks ago, and I'm committed to improving and adding to the game to make it the best experience it can be!

Check out the list of changes below for details:[/p]
  • [p]New enemy type: the Skull! This one almost made it into the launch version but wasn't quite as refined as I wanted--but now it is completed. This enemy provides additional challenge and variety that I think many of you will appreciate. You can now find him scattered through the arena shootouts.[/p]
  • [p]New checkpoints: several new checkpoints have been added to increase auto-save frequency in some areas.[/p]
  • [p]Improved game structure: I'm planning to add many more free DLC packs in the coming weeks and months, and this change "under the hood" will allow the game to support this much better. Bottom line: expect more DLC![/p]
  • [p]Other minor visual and bug fixes.[/p]
