We Have a Big Problem 🚨🚨🚨

Hello Collectors,
Playtest was supposed to be this week.
But no matter what we did, we couldn’t convince our NPCs (or our codebase) to put on pants.
They just kept strolling into the shop naked and proud.
So we gave up and added a “No Naked Entry 🚫” sign. Problem solved? We'll see.

Okay, now the serious part (kinda).

Unlike many multiplayer games out there, we wanted to support hotjoin — so your friends can hop into your game while you’re already playing.
That means no more “wait let’s restart” or “bruh, too late.”
More fun, more chaos, more trading — anytime.

But… supporting hotjoin meant a LOT of extra work:

Syncing NPCs, players, items, weather, cat moods, and the price of gum.

Making sure new players don’t break everything when they enter mid-game.

Basically, rewriting half the game just to make joining look like it was always that smooth.

So yes, we delayed the playtest.
But we’re doing it for you. And for our dignity. And for clothes.

And hey... we actually have some really cool plans to give you a true collector experience—
wait, I wasn’t supposed to say that.
Sorry team. Please don’t revoke my card sleeves. 😳

Thanks for being patient — playtest is close (and everyone’s wearing pants this time).
💛

Devlog #2 - Playtest Around the Corner!

Hello Collectors,

First off, apologies for the delay in the playtest. But rest assured, we’re getting so close now! We’re ironing out the final details on the multiplayer front, and very soon, you’ll be able to apply for access to the playtest on Steam. Since we don’t have the option to manually select participants, if you’re eager to play with your friends, we’re considering offering instant access keys for 1$ via Buy Me a Coffee

What Have We Been Up To?
Card Designs
We’ve been diving deep into crafting card designs. Our plan is to have 10 rarity levels in the game: Frequent, Common, Uncommon, Scarce, Rare, UltraRare, Exotic, Mythical, Epic, and Legendary.

Collection
You’ll be able to collect individual cards, sell them, or trade them with others.
Trades
The game will feature both single-card sales and trade options with customers.
Shop and Furnitures
Our in-game furniture and product shop are ready! Plus, we’ve completed designing a variety of furniture and items. You’ll be able to place products on shelves and set their prices.
Shop and City View
Our game world and shop are good to go. Of course, you’ll start in a smaller shop, but with progress, you can grow it into something extraordinary.
Where Were We in Devlog #1?
Looking back, we think we’ve made solid progress—and in a fun way, too! From tackling multiplayer chaos to designing placeholder cubes, it’s been a journey full of challenges and laughs.

Don’t forget to add our game to your wishlist and follow along!

Join our Discord Now to share your feedback, and while you’re there, check out our other games.

P.S. Did you spot any naked characters in our screenshots? No, you didn’t. It’s just your imagination playing tricks on you—or maybe the placeholder cubes are evolving into abstract art! Either way, clothes are definitely on the way. 😉

Devlog #1 Building Something Special (With Your Help!)

Hey Collectors!

First off, thank you for all the messages asking, “How’s the game going?!” It means the world to our small team that you’re this excited about TCG Multiplayer Card Shop Simulator. Time for a update you.

Why We’re Skipping the Next Fest
We’ve decided to sit out the upcoming game fest. Why? We’re not here to rush. We’d rather spend these months making sure the game feels right instead of racing to meet a deadline. This means more time to listen to your feedback, tweak mechanics, and polish the chaos of running a card shop with friends.

The Road Ahead: Phases, Friends, & Fun

Here’s the plan to get this party started:

Closed Alpha Test (Late February 2025): For our most hardcore early supporters. Help us break things!

Closed Beta,Open Beta

Demo : Everyone’s invited to join us at June Next Fest!

Early Access Launch (June 2025): The shop’s (almost) open! We’ll keep refining based on your feedback.

Yes, it’s a lot of phases—but multiplayer games need love (and testing). A rushed launch would mean a messy shop, and nobody wants that.

Current Progress: The Good, The Ugly, and The Placeholder Cubes
Done ✅:

Multiplayer core: Player spawning, sync, resource management.

Shop management: Orders, loans, and the panic-inducing “management computer.”

Next Up 🛠️:

New gameplay modules (NPCs,Ordering etc).

Visuals 🎨: Our 3D models (shops, characters, cards) are ready to go—they’re just waiting to be plugged into the game! Devs are working on bringing them to life, so stay tuned for sneak peeks in Devlog #2.

Modding Support 🔧: We’re not putting up walls! Since this isn’t competitive, we’re keeping the doors wide open for mods—custom cards, shop designs, rule tweaks, you name it. We won’t lock things down, so modders can tinker freely (just like your favorite games!). Share your creations with the community!

Why Multiplayer = “Wait, Why Is My Friend Floating?!”
Let’s be honest: multiplayer games are hard. Testing takes much more longer because every bug has to be squashed across different connections and “Wait, did YOU just crash the economy?!” moments. But we’re committed to making the shop-running chaos feel smooth, fun, and reliably chaotic.

We Need YOU!

Join Our Discord: This is where we’ll share beta sign-ups, scream about breakthroughs, and beg for your ideas. You can find discord link down below.

Spread the Word: The more testers, the merrier (and the fewer disasters at launch).

Tell Us Everything: What’s your dream feature for a card shop sim? NPC baristas? A black market for rare cards? We’re listening.

Thanks for being part of this journey. We’re a tiny team, but your excitement keeps our coffee mugs full and our keyboards clacking. Next time, we’ll have fewer programmer-art cubes and more actual art. Promise.

Until then, keep those decks shuffled!
