Fans looking forward to Capcom’s upcoming sci-fi shooter Pragmata got some surprising details during including a release date and a brand new system release.

Announced during The Game Awards 2025, Pragmata will launch on April 24th, 2026, for all current gen systems—PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S PC (via Steam) and now Nintendo Switch 2. The trailer also showed off a ton of new action players can anticipate within the game, including intense shootouts with gargantuan robots.

Pragmata looks to combine intense action platforming with third-person shooting. In a mix of intense shootouts in tight environments and colossal battles in half-destroyed cities. Players will control two characters: a soldier named Hugh and a little girl named Diana. Combining their unique abilities, players will hack through enemy robots’ armour so Hugh can destroy them with a mixture of guns and melee abilities.

Learn how Hugh and Diana combine their skills in combat. Hack enemies with Diana and pass through hacking nodes to activate various effects, and take them down with Hugh's arsenal of weapons. Pierce through enemies in single blow with the Charge Piercer. Distract enemies with decoys by using the Decoy Generator. Hack multiple enemies in one go with Multihack.

This fusion of hacking and shooting delivers an immersive fast-paced strategic gameplay where every decision shapes the battle.
