Puzzle Improvements

  • Removed text from some wall posters to reduce distractions.
  • Improved text hints (Security Room).
  • Added clearer environmental visual guidance (1st floor).
  • Added an explanatory dialogue when the Power Room door is locked.
  • Adjusted item appearance (Biology Room).
  • Added non-text hints for some puzzles (including: 1st-floor Power Room, Art Classroom, Biology Classroom).
  • Improved overall objectives and clue hints by rewriting text and highlighting key information.


Other Improvements

  • Added a “Retro Filter” option in Settings (off by default).
  • New flashback sequence(s).
  • Added B as a Back/Return function in multiple UI screens.
  • Updated the chaser’s appearance (including its weapon).
  • Added a gore/violence toggle in Settings (off by default).
  • Lighter fuel lasts longer.
  • Disabled the FPS display.
  • Added weapon usage instructions in the inventory UI.
  • Improved some materials and atmosphere details.
  • Increased lighter fuel available at the start of the game.
  • Added one more lock-on tutorial prompt.

Bug Fixes

  • Made the chaser’s behavior clearer during the first encounter.
  • Fixed an issue where picking up fuel after the lighter ran out would not show a pickup prompt.
  • Fixed occasional random chaser behavior that could cause failed escapes.
  • Fixed an issue where useless items could remain in the inventory after solving puzzles.
  • Fixed a rare issue where dying in certain locations could create a “softlocked” save.
  • Prevented Tongyuan Daozu from getting stuck/locked in Room 308.


Localization

  • Polished the Japanese localization.
  • Added two previously missing translated lines.
  • Added Russian.
  • Added Korean.
