v0.76.0 - Achievements, Mounts!

I love achievements and this updates adds them. There are over 100 achievements in the full game, and a selection of them are obtainable in the demo.



I also worked on something new: Mounts! These will be rideable in the full game and give increased movement speed. Moreover, each mount you unlock will increase the speed of all mounts.

This way, you can choose to equip your favorite mount and get the highest speed bonus, regardless of which mount you unlock or prefer to equip.

v0.75.0 - Chickens, Pet filters, Unlearn ability

Chickens have been officially added to the game!



Here is a preview of new pets being worked on! I will talk about them in a future post!



The mother chicken will also soon be accompanied by chicks!



With more pets being added to the game, better pet organization is required, so I added the ability to see all pets of a specific type, as well as level multiple pets without manually finding and selecting each one at the home island, saving tedious work.



The maximum pet count will now also increase if you equip different pet types - this is to encourage using different pets, rather than spamming the same one. I think the game is more interesting that way. The default maximum has been decreased to 3, but the new maximum will be a lot higher once you gain access to more pets.

Quality of Life improvements and fixes have also been added. You can now unlearn researches to get back 100% of spent cost. This allows you to experiment with different builds as you progress.

v0.74.0 - Electric Cookhouse!

Introducing a new building, the Electric Cookhouse!



It is superior to the regular cookhouse. Not only is it faster, it does not require settlers or charcoal and consumes half water! It is sold as a premium blueprint by the trader.

The trader research branch has been reorganized and now contains a new final research that grants the extraordinarily rare item: Circuits.

Traders now sell two types of blueprints - Epic and Regular blueprints. As more blueprints are added, I dumped them all under 'epic' tab, but as the list grows, better and more accurate categorization is needed, so I have grouped them at the trader.

Additionally, the Cookhouse, an essential building that can only be unlocked by cards, is now able to be bought at the trader if you do get unlucky. The Electric Cookhouse can also be bought here at a high price.
