Version 0.18.0: Leveling, Projectiles, and Streamlined Systems


This update focuses on adding a leveling system, improving projectiles, streamlining gameplay systems, and fixing various bugs.

  • Automatic Leveling System Added:

    • Your stats now increase automatically as you level up.
    • Level progression is integrated into the core gameplay.
    • The UI shows your current level and changes.
    • Stats are recalculated when you level up.

  • Gameplay System Improvements:

    • The camera has been improved.
    • The sound system has been updated for better performance.
    • The event system (which handles in-game events) has been enhanced.
    • Gameplay components have been optimized.
    • The user interface has been updated.

  • Projectile System Overhaul:

    • Projectiles now use physics-based movement for more realistic interactions.
    • Collisions between projectiles and other objects are now more accurate, including trigger-based detection.
    • Projectiles can now damage each other.
    • Projectiles may deflect based on damage.
    • Projectile size can change based on its remaining energy.

    • Redundant cost displays have been removed.

  • Note Activation Changes:

    • Notes now activate instantly without any delay.

  • Stat Adjustments:

    • Irrelevant stat modifications are now cleared when abilities are disabled.
