After months of blood, sweat and tears - it's finally here! This is the latest of the collaborations with other indie devs that Puppygames has been working with recently, this time with Pumpkin Games.

Deploy your team of Glitchangels to repair 'THE SYSTEM', one corrupt subroutine at a time.

Navigate your way through a cacophony of procedurally generated levels, unlocking GLITCHES as you go. Weapon powerups, extra bullets, enhanced vision, monster crates, etc –temporary hacks that help you complete your mission - or indeed hinder you if you’re unlucky.




Battle deranged HUNTERS, avoid deadly TRAPS, defeat the powerful archangels in HEAVEN – these APPS (and others) can be disabled so you can dial down the madness if you fancy a more chilled play session.


Glitchangels' coolest feature is to REWIND TIME when you get blown up. Go back 5 seconds in time and try something different to cheat death (and switch Angels while you're at it!)

So it seems Basingstoke has still got the most innovative stealth mechanics around in an action game! A game where just acting sneaky has the desired effect.

By way of an explanation, some people may not have realised how easy it is to be stealthy in Basingstoke and consequently not enjoyed themselves quite so much as they would have done if they'd known. So here's how it works:

• You don't need to ever use the Sneak key.
  
• You can run for a couple of seconds before you start to make any noise at all.
  
• The noise you are making can be seen by a little seismic pulse that emanates from your character. The bigger it goes, the wider the noise radius
  
• The longer you run, the bigger the noise you make.
  
• You can see whether you're visible by holding the cursor over your character.
  
• The radius at which you are visible is from the top to the bottom of the screen.
  
• If you can't see it, it can't see you!

We're continually updating Basingstoke with bug fixes, tweaks, and new content. We've got more environments, character unlocks, items, recipes, monsters, and game modes planned, all for free! We build a new update every night in the "alpha" channel, and promote that to "beta" every two weeks. Stay tuned for more updates!

You've got to escape alive through Basingstoke's randomly generated suburban sprawl, looting bodies as you go, crafting new things to help you evade detection, distract your enemies, or just plain old kill them as a last resort. Everything you encounter will kill you instantly, so stealth and planning are the keys to survival. And running away a lot while throwing sausage rolls over your shoulder.
