Introducing... THE DONATION DAY UPDATE 📚🔖
[p]📢 Librarians, get ready for a special community moment! 📚✨[/p][p]The Donation Day Update has arrived, bringing a brand-new event that transforms how your Library handles books that deserve a second life![/p][p]On Donation Day, your Library closes its doors to prepare for something meaningful. Set up new donation stands in the parking lot, place your selected books, and get ready as visitors line up outside, eager to browse and find their next favorite read! 📕🏷️[/p][p]During the event, each visitor will tell you what genres they enjoy (and which ones they avoid!). Use the new Indicate Shelf action to guide them to the perfect spot. Once a book is taken, it’s gone for good. It leaves your shelves to start a new chapter somewhere else. Every story finds a new home. 💛📦[/p][p]But that’s not all…[/p][p]We’ve added a glass entrance door that stays locked during Donation Day for full immersion, plus a new keybind for the Indicate Shelf action to keep things fast and intuitive. 🏛️🔁[/p][p]We also worked on stability and controls:[/p]
📕 MAJOR UPDATES:
● A new event begins! : Libraries need books, but not every book will be borrowed. To give books a new life, librarians can schedule a new type of event: Donation Day. On the day of the event, the library will be closed, and librarians must focus on selecting books and organizing them on new stands in the library parking lot while visitors line up, waiting for the event to begin. During the event, visitors will share the kinds of books they love (and the ones they don’t). With this information, librarians must use the new action of ‘indicating a shelf’ so that the visitor can go to the shelf that best suits their taste. Keep in mind that books donated during Donation Day will not return to the library. Even though eventually a particular title could be seen again at Book Arrivals, visitors won’t return the books taken on Donation Day. Each one finds a new home, ensuring that every story continues beyond your shelves. We hope donating unused or unwanted books helps librarians build their dream library. More features are on the way to make this vision a reality. Don’t forget to give feedback in our official Discord!
📙 MINOR UPDATES:
● Added a glass door to the library entrance. It remains closed during Donation Day.
● Added a new keybind for the “Indicate Shelf” action.
📘 BUG FIXES AND ADJUSTMENTS:
● AMD has released a new driver that sometimes fixes the graphical errors that renders Libritopia (and many other games) unplayable. We shared a new strategy for this on our Discord. If you use AMD processors and graphics, please update the drivers or go to our Discord to read more.
● Fixed incorrect keybinds not being overwritten on the controller.
● Fixed controllers input not working correctly on some screen interfaces.
● Fixed a bug where the game wouldn’t start correctly after a ‘save and quit’ from the game and then quitting again from the menu.[/p]
- [p]Controller keybinds now overwrite correctly[/p]
- [p]Controller inputs fixed on several UI screens[/p]
- [p]Fixed an issue where the game failed to start properly after “save and quit”[/p]
- [p]And for AMD users: new driver updates may resolve the rendering issues affecting Libritopia. Check our Discord for the full guidance![/p]
