Look Outside gets new endings, monsters, and more

[p]A quick new patch! This one is mostly bug fixes and a few tweaks from issues reported from the 1.6 update, wanted to get those in before going all in on the big 2.0 update work! [/p][p]Balance Tweaks:[/p]
  • [p]Xin Amon slightly buffed[/p]
  • [p]Joel's teethstorm cost reduced and damage increased a bit, had nerfed it a little too much in 1.6[/p]
  • [p]Added a few items to some locations[/p]
  • [p]Taxidermy bathroom mirror made interactive.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed issues and tweaked balance for cooking skill growth.[/p]
[p]General Fixes:[/p]
  • [p]Partial fix to launch problems. If you are experiencing the issue that prevents your game from launching, hopefully you should now be able to launch the game directly from the .exe file.[/p]
  • [p]Added option to turn off the clock's ticking.[/p]
  • [p]Toned down the clocks' ticking a bit.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed issue where any post-turn action (like colonel squeakums' attacks or the rat baby's Copy Dad ability) caused status effects like poison or life regen to proc twice in a turn.[/p]
  • [p]Removed the white background after defeating one of the final bosses.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed wriggly Fred fridge issue.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed issue where the cattle prod spear didn't recharge properly, turning into a different item. This will however not fix the problem if it's already happened, sorry![/p]
  • [p]Fix Sophie rejoining the party after you kick her out at Harriet's home[/p]
  • [p]Fixed Sophie sometimes joining as a fifth party member from Harriet's home.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed issue where Frederic sometimes gave a second extra canvas carry case.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed pork + pizza recipe giving the wrong items.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed Issue with some Spine events triggering even if she is dead.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed issue where you didn't lose Fred's stolen face after giving it away[/p]
  • [p]Fixed: When leaving after killing Toxic Fred, if you had the fake cowboy hat in your inventory but it wasn't equipped, when he attacks you, the game unequipped whatever Sam's hat is at the time.[/p]

  • [p]Fixed issue where Audrey wouldn't get the fungal fibres from defeating the fungus guardian unless Philippe was in the party.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed the color coding of Myrmidon and Wizards Hell to show when you have obtained the skill instead of showing when the game is complete.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed issue where Toxic Fred would become invincible if you kill the central head, run away, and return to fight again.[/p]
  • [p]Switched Boiler Beasts' Telescope attack for something more fitting.

Look Outside 1.6 is Out Now!

[h3]Hey everyone! [/h3][p]As you're all waiting for the Look Outside 2.0, currently planned for Halloween (but no promises), here's something to keep you entertained.[/p][p]Update 1.6 comes with some new content, like new interactions with Freds and Jeanne, as well as some music tracks and new gear.   • [p]Made the game cartridges of Wizards Hell and Myrmidon give you their skills a bit faster, shortened the completion of those two games.[/p]

  • [p]Rebalanced Joel's Devour ability. He no longer gains a minimum of 1 point for each enemy devoured - he now needs to eat several smaller enemies to add up to 1 HP of growth.[/p]
  • [p]Rebalanced Eugenes' haggling.[/p]
  • [p]Made Papineau's Bear Hug a little bit weaker overall, but added to its minimum damage.[/p]
  • [p]Tweaked the frequency of the Rat Baby interactions with party members, they were too common.[/p]
  • [p]Cooking pizza now produces pizza slice snacks instead of being a table meal.[/p]

  • [p]Fixed interaction with Ernest so he joins you for free the first time on easy mode. [/p]
  • [p]Fixed dialogue for Ernest on his first recruitment, he spoke as though he had given you a tour before, even when it is your first meeting.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed easy mode autosaves activating before special death scenes[/p]
  • [p]Fixed being unable to remove Sophie from your party after she returns with her mom, and you get her back into your team.[/p]
  • [p]Tweaked the wall mouth encounter's dialogue tree to be a bit less rigid.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed some issues where, sometimes, encounters that trigger just as you leave a room lead to a glitch where the encounter immediately triggers if you return. (especially with the big shadow monsters)[/p]
  • [p]Joel: Fixed that Gum Up The Works can trigger counterattacks from Biting Armor, Joel attacking himself.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed reloading the flamethrower and the acid sprayer.[/p]
