- Revamped the construction flow for building districts
- Implemented quality-of-life changes, thematical upgrades, and economy stabilization for the Necrophage faction
- Reworked the pacification quest flow
- Added temporary treaties and the ability to compliment or insult other factions
- Adjusted game speeds for Fast (200 turn limit), Normal (275 turn limit), Slow (350 turn limit), and Endless (400 turn limit)
- Introduced several changes to the Aspects to reinforce their diplomatic identity
- Made adjustments to hero stats, skills, and equipment
- Increased territory size in world generation by 30%
- Improved Major Factions spawn on Continent and Pangea maps

- Necrophage levels their districts differently now, upgrading as soon as a Matriarch's Eye is built adjacently
- Tentacles are now built instantly, with no industry costs and no turn-based costs, only a scaling cost in Corpses
- Defensive tentacles and military districts have been fused -- defense by death!
- Feedholes now give food instead of Corpses, and upgrade the yields for Devour the Land
- Additional thematic upgrades that incentivize building (as opposed to doin a bit of everything)
- Economic changes related to cadaver yield
- New trait: Cultural Approval (+5 approval on Pacified minor faction villages)
- New trait: Barter System (removes access to the Dust District for the fullest expression of the Aspects' symbiosis-based identity)
- Coral tiles now grant +1 Food
- Buyout with Influence added as an additional unlock in Era II technology
- Coral spawn rate adjusted from 5 to 7 turns
- Coralized villages now spread coral to adjacent tiles, and now have a -100% Bribe cost
- Laboratories, farms, and works now have double adjacency bonuses
