Update 0.6 - Cafe Cashiers

Hi everyone!
First of all, a huge thank you for all your feedback, suggestions, and bug reports. We do our best to read everything you post in the Steam community and on our Discord server — it really means a lot to us and directly impacts the development of the project.

We’re genuinely happy that you’re enjoying the game, and we already have plans in place for further improvements.

Today, we’re excited to introduce the first major update, which adds the ability to assign cashiers not only to the store register, but also to the café counter. This helps automate a rather time-consuming task and gives you more freedom to focus on other aspects of the game if you choose.

This system took a bit more time than we initially expected — the cashier had to learn how to operate the coffee machine, soda dispenser, and microwave. But now that this is done, we’re getting closer to the next step: adding stock clerks who will help you restock shelves. We plan to include this feature in one of the upcoming updates.
Changelog
Improvements

• Added the ability to assign a worker to the cafe cash register. The worker will automatically serve orders using the drink dispensers and microwave.
• The server host can now ban a player.
• Added a player ping window.
• Save files in the saved games list are now sorted by date.

Fixes

• Trays can no longer be thrown like boxes and no longer get stuck.
• The volume setting now affects the sound of drink preparation.
• The small cafe table no longer displays two table models at the same time.
• Soda dispenser buttons are no longer black under low lighting conditions.
• Cashier appearance is now saved after restart.

Update 0.5
Changelog
Improvements
• Boxes are now physically simulated and can be thrown.
• Added a shelf for convenient box storage.
• Added 5 new materials for painting floors and walls.
• Added 11 new decorative elements for the café (paintings, shelves, and a counter).
• Box labels now display the number of items inside.
• Added a text chat.
• The icon on boxes now updates when placing a different item inside.
• Added missing labels to the top side of some boxes.
• Now, when you place a box, it faces the player with its label.
• Added Steam Rich Presence (your Steam status now reflects the in-game situation).
• When hiding the interface with F11, player names are now also hidden.
• Added Dutch language support.
• Reduced the volume of drink pouring sounds.
• Added an option to invert the mouse on the Y-axis.
Fixes
• Friend's servers will now always appear at the top of the server list, even if they are public.
• Clients should no longer get stuck when trying to take an item from the freezer.
• Carbonated drinks in bottles now have correct, non-identical labels.
• Server privacy settings now work correctly when loading old saves.
• After returning to the main menu, the cursor is no longer hidden.

Update 0.4.3
Changelog
Fixes

• Refrigerator doors no longer open with LMB and no longer interfere with placing goods.
• The blue box of tea is now truly blue, not yellow.
• The cursor no longer disappears/appears when pressing Left Alt. This was an undocumented feature that caused problems if the player pressed Alt+Tab, so the cursor should no longer disappear. If you still need this function, it is now assigned to Right Alt.
• Visitors should now correctly approach refrigerators without doors, instead of getting stuck near them.

Update 0.4.2
Changelog
Improvements

• Added a button to the in-game menu that allows inviting a Steam friend to your game.
• Stickers with product images have been added to boxes.
• Added the ability to adjust the field of view (FoV).
• Improved the visuals of some sliders in the settings window.
• The following actions can now be performed using the left mouse button instead of just the E key: picking up and dropping boxes and trays, activating the coffee machine and soda dispenser, and interacting with the microwave. This should make the basic controls slightly more intuitive and comfortable.
• The microwave camera hitbox is now slightly larger, making it easier to place and retrieve food.
• Improved translation for Simplified Chinese.
• Added translation for Traditional Chinese.
• Added translation for Hungarian.

Fixes

• Fixed the inability to move the scrollbar by holding the left mouse button, which made it impossible to play using a laptop touchpad.
• The game should now correctly minimize when pressing Alt+Tab (its display will no longer turn off).

Update 0.4.1
Changelog
Improvements

• Reduced the placement collider of the food counter so it can now be placed closer to the wall.
• Reduced the placement collider of gray shelves and refrigerators so they can be placed directly opposite each other without additional shifting.
• Items held in hand are now spaced at equal intervals (no more suffering for perfectionists).
• If you fail to connect to the server, a message will now indicate that an active VPN might be the issue.
• Added a button to cancel the connection attempt to the server.
• Improved the Japanese translation.

Fixes

• Fixed the inability to place the food counter sideways against the wall when nothing was obstructing it.
• Partially fixed the issue where a picked-up item could remain stuck in your hands, preventing it from being thrown into the trash bin. It should now be discarded correctly.
• When connecting to the server, all windows should now display correctly, without pauses and with the proper materials.
• Emote animations in multiplayer now properly stop when movement begins.
• Broken lines should no longer appear in the server list.
• Players connected to the server can now also obtain the microwave achievement, not just the host.
• Steam Cloud should no longer sync save files between the full and demo versions, which should prevent your save file from reverting to an earlier version.
• Fixed holes in the ground in front of the windows in the Eastern Europe location.

Balance

• Significantly reduced the work speed of the NPC cashier, now, they are not as fast, and hiring a second cashier becomes meaningful after unlocking around 10 licenses.
• The daytime visitor flow in the cafe has been halved, as it was too difficult to serve them all.
• Food prices in the cafe have been significantly increased to make its revenue comparable to that of the store. Previously, the cafe generated too little income and took too long to pay off.
