Steam Deck Compatibility

[p]Good news for Steam Deck players! My friend tested the game on it and it runs smoothly with full touch-screen controls. While the game isn’t fully optimized for Deck yet (I’ve been mainly focused on the PC experience) the entire UI was designed with mobile and touch input in mind from the start.[/p][p]That means key interactions work naturally on the Deck like:[/p]
  • [p]Tap an enemy to check their inventory (instead of hovering).[/p]
  • [p]Swipe through your deck (instead of scrolling).[/p]
  • [p]Buttons and layout scale cleanly for a handheld screen.[/p]
[p]I haven’t done my own full pass on the Steam Deck yet, but everything appears to function as intended. I hope you’ll still enjoy the adventure while I continue refining the experience! If you run into anything odd, feel free to share or shame lol—your feedback helps a ton.[/p]

[p]In this latest update, Encounter: The Lost Cards has evolved into a trading card game where you play with four tradable cards. Yes, you read that correctly: four playable cards. Full Steam Market integration allows players to shape a real player-driven economy inside a single-player, turn-based roguelike! The shop/inventory page has been revamped to include Giftboxes which can be opened with Wisdom![/p][p][/p][p]What do these mysterious cards do? That’s the fun part: nobody knows yet. You’ll have to earn them to find out! Be sure to complete the new missions introduced via achievements to unlock powerful starting gear to help get you further than you've ever gone before.   • [p]Items you already have copies of in your stash will now prioritize being placed in your active inventory rather than fusing together with the copy in the stash. This gives you more control, as you can always fuse them together later.[/p]
