Quarantine Zone: The Last Check News

Greetings!

Demo for Quarantine Zone went live exactly a week ago - on May 22nd. It's been an interesting week for the entirety of the development team as we doing our best to process all of the feedback and bug reports we've been getting.

We'd like to share with you the stats for the Demo after the first seven days:


Our team is still in quite a state of shock from those numbers, including the number of answered surveys. We are hard at work processing them and seeing where we should take the game next.

We'll be back with more news regarding our future plans for the game soon enough, we have loads of ideas, and a lot of them are based on players' feedback and input.

We are happy to announce that Quarantine Zone Demo is part of Zombies Vs. Vampires Fest that is hosted on Steam. It starts today at 10 AM PT (May 26th) and lasts till June 2nd.

First of all, we'd like to celebrate the fact that more than 400.000 people have played Quarantine Zone Demo!

We know of players' frustration with the resource cart, its controls & resource transportation. We are already working on addressing your concerns thanks to the ample feedback we've received on the matter.

With that being said, we also keep a keen eye on all other feedback regarding other parts of the game, including bug reports.

We ask that you give us time to figure out a proper way to address the resource cart and we'll keep improving other aspects of the demo.

We'd like to thank everyone for playing the demo and reporting your issues to us.

We've prepared the first patch addressing some of the issues, including critical ones.

• Added an option in the Setting Menu to toggle on/off Motion Blur
  
• Fixed a commonly faced crash issue with people with specs within hardware requirements
  
• Fixed error that blocks the controls after dying on a drone
  
• Visual improvements to UI
  
• Fixed 'Lost Signal' Bug
  
• Fixed bug when switching between weapons during defence
  
• After finishing the evacuation sorting the PC now shows that the evacuation is ready
  
• When finishing the sorting process, i.e. sending survivor to quarantine/liquidation/evacuation block the Tablet UI will now close automatically
  
• Other minor fixes

The demo includes the first 7 in-game days, it can be replayed with no limit on the total time spent in the game.
